Recipe recommendations for Redwoods NP and tips

Edit: Ordered a 1/4 Tiffen black mist filter. I’m leaning towards a warmer cinematic look

My X100VI just arrived and I’m already taking it to Redwood National Park in a few weeks.

I’ve been shooting with a Sony A7III, so having every focal length available spoiled me a bit. Going all in on 35mm should be an interesting challenge. What recipes should I try on this trip, and what tips would you give a new owner?

I’m pretty excited as I just bought the camera on a whim as a local camera shop in Portland had it in stock

Just switched from US Mobile and my eye doc can’t text me

Just switched from US Mobile and now my eye doc’s office can’t text me anymore. I can send/receive texts fine with android and iPhone users, just not them. They’re probably using some automated texting service. Anyone know what’s going on or if there’s a setting I need to change?

Just got my Mint Pixel phone from the deal but still have 24 days left on US Mobile

I still have 24 days left on my US Mobile plan and don’t want to waste that time by porting early. My Mint pixel phone just showed up though.

Can I set up the pixel now using my existing US Mobile SIM/service, then port my number over and activate Mint service in a couple weeks? Or does activating the pixel force the port right away?

I really just want to play with the pixel as I’ll probably stick with my iPhone 15 pro and keep it as a backup

2 factor authentication

I recently had a phishing attempt on my account so I went to change my password directly on the website. I have 2FA active but it allowed me to log on and change password without authentication. What does Alaska use 2FA for if not for this type of activity?
