Pamouk, Charles Blake, even Henry, every time Evelyn makes an attempt to get near Mary, he throws another man into the mix as if he thinks allowing Mary a choice to date him = Mary must choose between him and someone else. Each time, he gives her the opportunity to disappoint him .. and she does.

It's not Jane Austen. I'm not sure what it wants to be. I wanted to like it but the first thing that took me out was hearing Aaron Copeland. I mean, I love Hoedown, but no. Not in Austen.

The second thing was the hand job. I just can't imagine Jane going that far.

The third thing was how mean Lady Denham is, as well as her nephew and nieces.

Overall I feel like, if they wanted to plant a flag, it was a huge mistake to even think about stretching it beyond a 150 minute movie to establish itself, let along a whole season.

There's way too much in there, and too much meanness that's not entertaining and isn't about Charlotte and Sidney, to want to continue as a Jane Austen work. Someone else's, maybe. Austen was a novelist. Her stories had beginnings, middles, and endings. Using her work for the basis of an ongoing series was an act of misappropriation on Andrew Davies part. I have enjoyed so much of his work.

I can't say if I would have stayed for another season or two if it was an Andrew Davies work from start to end; can't blame Theo James for leaving, either.

What is does do well is, it makes me want to seek out other adaptations to see how other writers handled the plot once the characters were established.

Back at the beginning of June, I informed that I planned to stay on. Initially I was told there would be no changes, no rent increase, etc.

Well, they did raise it but not by much, so no biggie. I started to sign, but it was like a 67 page document. Got 1/2way through and was tired. When I returned to finish it the next day, it was gone.

Spoke with the office again. They put it up again. I went through it and signed, and saved everything. This was at the end of June.

Two weeks later I heard from the office saying they still didn't have it. I went online to look and there was a screw up with the rent price going to 3x what I was paying.

I spoke with them at the office, sent them a copy of all the previously signed stuff, they said they'd fix it. That was a week ago (?).

Tonight I got a message from the auto text saying I still hadn't signed, I returned it saying, yes I did.

Got a response from someone claiming to be property manager, saying 'no you didn't' and please go to the portal.

So I looked. Rent is what it should be, but the copy I signed in June had the pet fee at $25, and the new lease raises it to $75/month.

Are there any legal eagles in the house that can tell me if the first lease will hold up as legit, and the new fees are illegal, etc?

Under discovery, 'show up in search results' is turned off but stuff is there and even an AI overview.

I didn't even notice Rob as an entity until the 3rd episode. He had a couple of scares that showed how important it is to properly time your enemies' demises.

Tiffany didn't do herself any favors but I'm happy she has a lot of faith in herself.

Tara and Johnny came across like high school kids at the 2nd tier of popularity. I won't diminish their very real accomplishments, they just came across as entitled and too cool for the other kids. It's crazy they lasted as long as they did.

Colton was a dick, but so what?

Lisa Rinna is a lot more fun than the noise that accompanies her presence. Candiace, jeez. Her publicists are worth every penny, speaking of nothing burgers.
