Where to stay?

My husband and I are coming in October for a long weekend. Never been before and the plans are mostly hiking and relaxing by the pool, good dinners and maybe hot tub at night. We don’t necessarily need a spa but it seems like the best resorts do have spas. Any recommendations on where to stay? We would like a nice pool but don’t need to stay at the fanciest most expensive place. Also we will have a car, chat gpt recommended some places based on walking distance to uptown and galleries and shops, but we are not really gallery and shops people so that doesn’t matter to us.

When will I be able to play board games with my kids?

I have an 8 and 6 year old, neither of which are actually diagnosed but I’ve strongly suspected for a long time. So many things feel so much harder than they’re supposed to be. Today we tried for the millionth time to play a card game and the loser absolutely lost it and completely melt down. That’s always the way any kind of game goes. It’s such a simple thing that other families can do so it just feels so sad and frustrating for me. What age can I expect my kids to finally be able to hold it together and remember it’s just a game!?

Third love minimizer almost THE bra but not quite - what do I try now?

I recently got third loves minimizer wire bra (NOT the minimizer bralette) in a 34F. It fit, I liked the way it did minimize my bust, but I have to return it because the band gives me not only back fat, but horrible fat like in the front where the wire digs in to my skin under my bust. Kind of a weird problem and maybe it’s just my body? It didn’t feel tight and I think if I go up to a 36 then it won’t support as well? What’s a different minimizer bra that smooths things a little bit more?

Chores / summer routine help

Ok I have so many thoughts so I will try to organize this but sorry in advance if it’s all over the place. I have kids aged 2, 6, 8. I want them (realistically just the older 2) to start doing chores this summer because I’m just done doing it all myself. Every chore chart I see for my kids ages seems completely ridiculous to me - like my 6 year old just does not have the ability to sweep properly. She honestly loves to do chores that are way above her abilities but then she doesn’t do them well and I have to do it myself anyway and I’m left really irritated. My 8 year old can’t really vacuum yet. They can’t even reach the cabinets to properly unload the dishwasher. I’m a germaphobe and don’t want either of them cleaning the bathrooms. I know this is the only way they will learn but I was definitely not doing chores as a kid and eventually learned everything I needed to. I don’t think I cleaned a bathroom until I moved out, never did my own laundry.

I guess my question is am I being way too anal about this? Or have others found most free online chore charts to be way off as well? What are actual age appropriate chores? Also how to get them to do them without a fight lol.
