(35F) Hepatic adenoma without ever being on BC

Hi all, just a quick question for liver specialists as my GI hasn’t been totally knowledgeable about my condition.

I have some pancreas and GI issues after a bad bout of Covid and on an MRCP, they discovered 2 masses on my liver (that they think are adenomas). My GI asked me to do a liver specific MRI with eovist to check it and I am waiting for that in a month but my question in the meantime is why would someone like myself who has never even once been on birth control have 2 adenomas? And alternatively, is there anything I can do in the meantime to help them shrink? I work out but anything I can eat? Milk thistle? Avoid certain food groups etc? Is estrogen is boosting them from just my body’s hormonal supply and not BC, how can I keep that even keeled while I have my menstrual cycles? Any help would be appreciated.

Silica packets for ear dryness?

Perhaps a stupid question but worth asking: I’m new to swimming and started noticing that I was getting the beginnings of itchiness/swimmers ear every time I swam. I got the plugs, tried to cover it with my cap, jumped up and down, did the drops, but nothing seems to prevent the water from creating irritation. I am fairly desperate as I really have come to like swimming but am very scared of ear infections (I have a brain issue and the idea of infection that close to my brain is terrifying). Apart from doing the above, has anyone ever just put a silica gel packet at the opening of the canal and like slept on it basically in the hopes it would pull the moisture? Nothing in the canal, just like laid across the opening and your head above it. Is this stupid? I just need additional tactics as my ear is still itchy as hell every time.

Does good cause eviction apply to subletting

Hi! I am subletting half an apartment in Brooklyn and my landlord (who is the tenant on the lease renting the apt but not the landlord of the building) wants to not renew my sublease because they decided they don’t like I work from home. Have always paid rent on time etc. My sublease ends May 31 and between work and life and illness (I have long covid) I have been unable to land a new place despite applying to many. Do I have any protection under good cause eviction to stay where I live? I just need more time to find a place and I can barely afford to move right now.

long story short, I live with someone who I've discovered is OCD and definitely more than a bit on the spectrum. I am moving out end of May but she wants to show the apt on days that are convenient for her (like Mother's day). I have a mother I want to see and she said well she wants to do it then. Can I push back legally? I have no real sublease agreement. Some stupid microsoft word doc that says I am renting the rooms and that does not specify anything, including allowing the "landlord" to show the rooms. She is also a renter from our larger landlord owner (who does not care about this in the slightest). Can I say no to Mother's day and move for a different day? Literally any other day? I will allow other days of course. I'm not unreasonable. I also just want to be there when my rooms are being shown because I don't trust her. She has anger issues and weird rules in her head so leaving her around my stuff is not a good idea. She already tends to touch and change and move my things at will. All friends who could sub in for me would also be with their moms. Please help.
