He ain’t slick. I am glad that we don’t talk about politics much anymore but I find it notable that the white supremacy comes through in other parts of life.
For years - I tried to stop. I wasn’t able to get but a few weeks under my belt before relapsing. On February 1, 2026 I walked into the local AA meeting & it changed my life.
I had been to these meetings off & on but they never helped or maybe I didn’t work them properly. Maybe I wasn’t ready?
I am so grateful I was ready to finally kick this shit and stay clean. I pray daily, I have a sponsor, I am working the steps and I go to meetings daily. I never thought I would find so much love and tolerance for a gay man in those rooms but - I found it.
I wake up and catch the 6:30am meeting everyday and I just wanted to share some hope with you. It IS possible.
I am celebrating 5 months clean soon and hope to see others celebrating all milestones, small and big.
Keep coming back, it works if you work it. 💚
