I had been on Mirena before but the emotional rollercoaster it put me on was awful.

So I decided to switch to the Kyleena because my endo symptoms are even worse on my period, but now I’m thinking of taking THIS iud out and going back on the pill even though the pain and the bleeding is horrendous.

I just don’t know what to do anymore. I feel disgusting and horrible in my own body.
I went from 48kg to 62kg in less than a year and I have never had worse self esteem.

I was also diagnosed with an allergy to progesterone so I’m on antihistamines all month.

Any advice and did anyone else gain weight in Kyleena?

I was also on an OCD med that made me gain weight so I am trying to see who the real culprit is.

I feel like I’m going through every doctor in the book. I feel like sometimes I have my symptoms under control and then something comes up and everything unravel.

Last week I got test results back for a gut bacteria/ urology test, and it turns out I have like severe overgrowth of yeast and another bacteria in my stomach that are 2 and 10 times over the normal limit respectively that will take about three weeks to get out of my system. The tests also showed my liver is working overtime and that my guts are basically just a mess.

I’ve heard mixed reviews on this test, but the findings were really relevant to exactly what I’m going through because I have severe bloat, horrible constipation, constant acid reflux, and everything makes me react.

The doctors don’t know what to label what I have because my symptoms are spread out all over the place. One of my worst symptoms is actually the insane itching of my labia. I usually manage it by taking one Zyrtec a day but ever since I started the medication for my overactive got bacteria to try to kill the bacteria in my gut that itching has skyrocketed and I’m bleeding again and it becomes unbearable. I’ve gone to the OB/GYN and they keep checking me for yeast infections and I don’t have it and she unofficially diagnosed me with having a possible allergic reaction to progesterone and so now I take allergy meds all month because I react so badly before and after and during my period.

But now taking this medicine called Nystatin has completely ruined me. I feel like I am itchy everywhere and I am just so uncomfortable in my own body. Food i have deemed safe is now causing pain. The labia itching that was well controlled is back in full force.

I have a low grade fever, I’m dizzy, I am constantly nauseous, I have stabbing pain in my lower abdomen, I’ve lost my appetite and when I do eat or drink the stabbing pain is worse.

I don’t know what to do to improve my symptoms.

I can’t seem to find a doctor to connect my vaginal itching to my digestion to my itchy skin.

Currently I’m getting tested for food sensitivities but I’m assuming that will come back useless.

I’ve been to gastrointestinal and OBGYN. I have pots and celiac so I’m always at the cardiologist as well. What is my next step to get some relief?

All 3 doctors believe I have an allergy but don’t know to what. Everytime I bring up histamines they say I need to experience anaphylaxis, which I don’t (except to fur coats).

I can get Zyrtec OTC but I can’t get any Pepcid OTC in my country.

I’m working full time and am also a full time student. I just want to figure out how to manage this and any advice would help. I don’t have any other outlets and I am so exhausted.

I have POTS, celiac disease and a handful of suspected other things.

I’ve been having horrible constipation and gut problems for years now. Changed my ocd med and wow - I can poop again!

But now I’m itchy all the time, can’t feel refreshed, exhausted beyond belief, bloated to the point of thinking I’m pregnant - so I got a gut bacteria test.

Three things are overgrown in my gut: yeast at 2× normal, general bacteria at almost 10× normal, and a celiac-linked bacteria just over the limit:

1. Yeast (Candida)

Marker: Arabinitol

My result: 212.55

Should be under: 94.88

2. Bacterial overgrowth

Marker 1: Tricarballylate

My result: 7.12

Should be under: 0.75

Marker 2: Indican

My result: 130.56

Should be under: 68.79

I was genuinely shocked. I’m not sure what this all means or if this means another new diagnosis or new doctors. But I’m just happy for some results.

I’m not one a whole slew of new medicines for the next three weeks, going back for more allergy testing and hoping to see some improvement in the next 1-4 months.

First time in years I felt relief at a doctor’s office.

So if you can - check your gut!

I feel like I’ve lost so much of my life.

I can’t poop normally. I can’t fart without peeing. Sometimes old blood from my period comes out when I poop.

It feels like my bladder, rectum, intestines and uterus are all connected and no doctor can help.

I’ve been to the OBGYN and the gastroenterologist several times.

I’m trying to manage things while having POTS, celiac disease, possible MCAS and doing all my hospital appointments in my second language.

I’m just exhausted and don’t know what to do anymore
