Property manager drilled holes in AC compressor

I live in New Jersey by the shore and we had a a small mold issue in our apartment. All things lead to our AC units located underneath the windows in our bedroom and dining room. We got new units but property manager kept out old AC compressors (the part that goes outside) after still having issues with humidity in our apartment after the new units got installed I called to let him know we were still having isssues. His way of solving that issue was noticing there was water built up in our AC compressor and he told me he drilled holes in them to drain said water. I’m having a hard time believing that this will “fix” the issue.

Humidity in apartment

Has anyone else been dealing with higher humidity inside their homes/apartments? I’m turning into a psycho over it. It’s summer time- I live a mile from the beach, and close to a smaller body of water. Is this normal?

Weird things people say

I’m almost 8 weeks (I know still very early) but I lost my father a little over a month ago and this pregnancy has been the most positive thing in my life so I’m rolling with my joy. Some people have judged me for telling people “too early” and I’m like whatever please just keep your opinions to yourself. But also- DAMN people really do think they can say whatever they want to you.
“Just wait it’ll get worse”
“Oh you’re tired? You’ll never sleep again get used to it”
“Omg why are you telling me? That’s bad luck”
“What if something happens to the baby?”
“You’re gonna hate your husband after you give birth”
“You’ll never want to have sex ever again”
“Say goodbye to doing anything for yourself”

Like shut up and let me have my own experience!

Dad has stage 4 kidney and liver cancer

My father has always been a huge part of my life and we are incredibly close- in January he received his diagnosis. They started with immunotherapy and it did nothing- now we are on to chemo pills at home but the edema in his legs has been brutal- fluid seeping out and soaking his clothes and sheets constantly. He’s dropped so much weight and has no appetite. It’s hard for him to walk now and getting up any kind of stairs is proving to be impossible. I love my dad so much it makes my heart hurt- my husband and I are also dealing with fertility issues at the same time. Every day feels so bleak and I can’t seem to find any hope. Looking for some community and guidance with navigating this 💗 love to you all
