All food sounds and tastes horrible

What are we actually getting down through morning sickness that’s really more like all day sickness?

I don’t actually throw up (just feel like I’m going to constantly) and all food sounds and tastes horrible, but I keep choking it down for the sake of eating (and to avoid the awful crampy nausea I get when my stomach is too empty) but it feels like no matter how much I eat or drink I’m just a hungry, stomach grumbling, nauseous mess all day.

How do you cope with being hungry all the time to the point of nausea when no food sounds or tastes decent? I feel like I’m just torturing myself every time I try to eat 😂 at this rate this baby is going to be made out of chips, fast food burgers, water, and dreams 😭

Second IUI success!

March = chemical
April = failed IUI
May = chemical
June = SUCCESS!

It’s been one week of positive tests and I had my first beta draw yesterday at 14 days post IUI, and my HCG was at 289 and progesterone was a 37! I am so thankful and hoping tomorrow’s beta shows solid progression. My app says due February 15th! I have for sure already been feeling really nauseous and crampy.

We’ve been trying since the beginning of last year and have never made it this far into the process. I feel like I’m finally starting to breathe and let myself get excited after this test this morning. Here’s to hoping for good numbers tomorrow!!

14–16 dpo progression

How does this look? Was kind of freaking out yesterday because it doesn’t seem to be darkening but today looks a little better? I know the trend over the next few days will tell me a lot but just anxious and it’s hard to wait

Fitness thread?!

Thought it might be helpful to have a fitness thread for those who have experience to share and for those who have questions to ask. Especially for these early days when you are supposed to “take it easy”

I used the bloom method for both pregnancies and recoveries. Yoga and Pilates, etc. and cycle commute.

How about you other mums?!

Just found out I’m pregnant with my 1st baby, on the first cycle of trying. I thought I was infertile for years. Keep your head up ladies! ❤️

5 week 5 days

Got a private ultrasound done today. Abdominal ultrasound. Measured 5 weeks 5 days and due date of February 4th. Any mamas who have had ultrasounds done this early, does this look normal? No heartbeat yet bc it was too early for the abdominal ultrasound to pick it up🙏🌈💗

Who else is here after losses?

4w4d with a Feb 12, 2027 baby after 3 miscarriages. I am so so anxious and really want this to stick! Just had first beta yesterday at 17dpo and it was: HCG 537, Progesterone 32.9.

Who else is here post losses? Sending you all love and sticky baby vibes! 🩷

Any crunchy/ holistic Bumpers here?

I am allll about the natural and holistic practices/supplements/ beliefs out there and would love to know what you are doing, buying, practicing! I have made a fresh batch of bone broth weekly for nutrients, have a full prenatal vitamin stack, get morning sunlight, grounding, all the things. I'd love to know about you all!

Saw a heartbeat today 🥹

Had my first appointment today at 6w+0 with my high risk pregnancy specialist. I knew it’s early and not always a heartbeat will be seen at this stage, so when the doctor told me there is a good heartbeat I burst into tears 🥹. Keep it going little baby ❤️

In tears about my strong rainbow baby 🥹🌈

I‘m 6dpt so 3w4d today with our little rainbow baby. 🌈🍀

This was our third embryo transfer after ttc for almost two years. We had a chemical pregnancy with our first transfer in April.

I had my first positive test on Sunday and the lines have been getting darker every day. 🥹

I had my initial beta scheduled for this Thursday so 8dpt but since we’re going on vacation on Thursday and I am so anxious after our loss I wanted to have at least two betas to see if they are rising properly. That‘s why I already went in for my first beta yesterday almost exactly 120h after my transfer. Got the call just now and the doctor (not my doctor because she is on holiday this week) started out saying „You‘re pregnant but betas are a little low…“ my heart sank. And then he continued „It‘s probably because it was only 5dpt and they will probably rise in a few days.“ When I asked how low they were he said 44.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN LOW?! 44 is higher than my betas were 8dpt after my first transfer. This is higher than I had ever dreamed about. I was hoping for maybe 20.

I‘m a bit scared now that we‘re now in for twins because it was a medicated natural cycle and my doctor told me to have sex around ovulation to maximize our chances (since sex never lead to anything the last 2 years the risk wasn‘t really high). 😅
