hi all! I hope everyone is healthy and happy❤️

I’m currently 13w4d after 3 early losses last year. baby has been looking great so far and I’ve been easily able to find her heartbeat with a doppler everyday. NIPT was low risk with 21% FF.

I’m trying so hard to get excited, and I’m in a space where I want to share so it can feel real and exciting but everytime I think i’m there, I just wonder if i’m going to go to my next US and get bad news whether it’s the baby’s not growing or something’s wrong. My FYP and feeds keep showing me second tri loss stuff and random circumstances that are scaring me.

What are we managing to cook at home??? After working with kids all day I don’t want to come home and stand on my feet and cook lol. Plus what I want changes every day, and it’s never things I can easily make at home. I’ve put all our meat in the freezer because I have no idea what to do with it. Please give me ideas because I can’t afford to keep eating out or living off of instant mashed potatoes at home lol.

Just got my 12 week scan and baby is looking healthy (yay!) but they noted a large anterior fibroid on my uterus measuring at 6.6 x 5.9 x 5.2 cm. Looking back at the scan I had at 7 weeks 5 days, it was 5.6 x 5.5 x 4.6 cm, so it's grown a bit.

They also noted that my placenta is anterior as well, though I’m not sure if they overlap.

No one mentioned it to me at all after my first ultrasound. I just happened to google it this time around because I wasn’t sure what that note meant. However, I am now googling and it sounds like it could cause some scary complications.

Does anyone else have a fibroid they are monitoring or had one in the past? I have a message in to my midwife, but not sure how concerned to be. TIA!!

Hi 13w, FTM here! Not sure if this is a TMI question but what kind of undergarments are you wearing, underwear & bras?

I am at the point where my underwear feels too compressed and the band hits my belly and feels really uncomfortable to be in all day. Does any one have any recommendations for underwear? Looking for any and all recommendations for bump friendly thongs, briefs or cheeky cuts please.

Similar asks for bras. I am mainly wearing lounge bras for now but would like something more structured for when I go into work or have an event. Has anyone have any recommendations? I am hearing that nursing bras are a good option.

Is there such a thing as buying one kind/pack to keep the entire pregnancy or should I prep to continually buy new sizes as I grow?

I booked a elective gender scan for next Saturday. I’ll be 15 weeks 1 day. I lost my third baby boy at 37 weeks due to T18 9 months ago. My nipt was low risk.. so it was wrong.

Anways this time my NIPT was low risk and says consistent with female. First girl after 3 boys. But I guess my trust with the NIPT is a little low, given what happened last time. It was from Materniti21 and it said fetal fraction 34% but in my mind I still do not believe it. I want to be excited and happy so bad, but at the same time I’m so scared to get to excited if that makes sense. Has anyone did a scan at this point? I honestly really just want to see baby moving on ultrasound. I have so many anxieties. My next one with my doctor isn’t until anatomy so.

I also found out I have something called Factor v Leiden which is higher chances of blood clotting. My baby boy was stillborn and with the placenta pathology there was a blood clot in the cord. I have started baby aspirin everyday as an extra precaution. I’ve had two healthy boys who’s 4 and 2 so I don’t think I’d have even known without that pathology. I’m trying to keep myself sane because it could’ve very well been caused by all the issues and his placenta I think they said was like 4th Percentile.

Anyways, if you read my spill it’s because I really don’t have anyone to talk to on a daily basis about all this as we are just kinda waiting til anatomy scan to tell more than just close friends and family.

I’m 15w1d and can’t feel the baby at all. I thought one could feel the baby sooner during the second pregnancy. What has been your experience? I worry easily lol, I really wonder if I should be feeling some kind of movement by now…

FTM here: are diaper bags really necessary? And if so, is there one that you guys really like or have your eye on? I’ve always been the type of person to match my purse to my outfit, so I’m just wondering if I just get a really big purse would that suffice? But I also like the idea of having a devoted diaper bag just because of the organization and the fact that some of them like the Beis one, have a fold out changing pad on them! Plus, if I get something like that one, my husband can easily just take it with him if need be without carrying around one of my purses, lol

I am almost 14 weeks and my husband and I had intercourse, it was hurting by the opening during and I noticed a bit of blood and a small tear afterwards. I had this happen before multiple times already prior to pregnancy. However, obviously in pregnancy this makes you more nervous. Went shower and all after and no more new blood or any issues.
Is this something I need to reach out to my midwife to? I wouldn’t be concerned usually but again, in pregnancy, everything makes you overthink.
