Someone talk me out of this idea I have

So I've been looking at cold plunge technology and I've been wondering, wouldn't it work and be relatively cheap to run a water pump and tubing through a very cheap mini fridge to effectively get the same result as a dedicated water chiller? Considering the prices it seem rather cheap too. I know some people build plunges out of freezers and I wonder if the end result is mostly the same?

What am I missing in my thinking here?

Work training contradicts work policies

This is one I bet a fair few of you experience. I'm sure anyone who works in an office with a cube set up is familiar with the opened concept design. It's basically the one that jams the most people in the smallest space, but also allows managers to look over everyone's shoulders easiest. It's a very unfun work environment, but one managers love because it justifies their role and makes them think they can keep everyone honest. One of the things a lot of work places (mine included) seems to be very uptight about is the idea that we need to embrace the open concepts. Now to some degree my managers have improved over time, but even if they inherited this design and see the irony, they havn't done anything to change it.

However, this runs completely contrary to our training, which involves yearly CJIS certification and wouldn't you know? CJIS hates open concepts. Why? Because you're supposed to protect sensitive information at all costs and that involves controlling who is looking over your shoulder (ideally no one) when you are accessing it. Even if your office has a controlled door, the very notion that you can't control when and who might be looking at your screen is against the idea of CJIS. It even specifically says privacy screens or facing your computer screens to walls is ideal.

We're supposed to take CJIS very seriously and it always grinds my gears that I have to take these certifications every year, mandated by my bosses who are the very people responsible for open concept cubes.

New to hardware hacking, trying to crack a checksum

Trying to alter memory on a device I own. The first four bits 0000: D9 CF 26 30 I'm pretty sure are a checksum, and everything I alter the data after this the device resets (presumably due to checksum failure) I am pretty sure I need to recalculate this whenever I alter the data but I'm not sure what the checksum is. I have multiple dumps and can get more (as many as I want/need) but I'm not sure how to proceed in figuring it out or brute forcing it. Any tips would be appreciated in where to start.

Usually they're in a situation where the enemy is camping them too. It almost always results in you getting killed. I need to start taking necro so I can revive them and they can die again and just shut up with asking me to rush into bad situations.

One of my biggest flaws as a player is rushing in to support bad decisions from team mates.
