I've thoroughly busted up my DocMartens so have been on the search for boots, after some too big and some too small I finally found this pair in my size! Really chuffed, no need to break them in either which is a great plus of second hand leather :)
An absolute beauty of a find, one of my most sought after jumpers (high neck sweaters will never be beaten) paired with my favourite cargo trousers that are from 1953 made for the Dutch Army.
I had been after a true-issue submariner for a while however I was finding it very difficult to find one in my size that wasn't also short in the arms. This one is so close to perfect I couldn't say no, it is in nearly perfect condition with the only real issue being a small snag on one of the shoulder seams (which the original owner patched up).
Recently acquired from a carboot sale, one of my favourite jacket/shirt models because of the semi raglan sleeve that crosses at the back. Really soft wool and superbly warm, this one has a few moth holes and some amazing machine repairs.
£9 each at a carboot sale and a thrift store, super happy! One is alum-scoville from the early 70's the others are mid late 70's brass serval and scoville zippers. First carboot of the year and already a great pickup, hoping this luck continues.
