I’m so excited!!

My first delivery of citric acid powder just arrived and I’m adding it to my dishwasher this evening as a pre wash!!! Here’s hoping for shiny dishes!

Game changer

Y’all, I joined this group a few days ago and you’ve already changed my life for the better. Sniffed a load of whites this evening and went straight to the store.
What a difference! I bought what I saw in my browsing and these clothes are sparkling white and they smell great! This washer isn’t old, it just needed some love. Worth Every Penny.
Thank you thank you thank you

Bone-in Chicken/Rice Casserole?

I’d like to use some frozen leg/thigh chicken to make a chicken rice casserole. How to do this and keep the rice from being mushy? thanks!

Canned garbanzo beans make me gassy!

Hey friends, can I use the Instant Pot to reduce the gassy compounds of canned garbanzo beans and still have edible and not mushy beans?

Thanks!

Thoughts on #57 or #57D foot?

Hi friends, I’m wondering if moving the #57D foot would improve my quarter inch piecing at 68 years young. Y’all know the drill - aim for precision, age a bit, aim becomes hope, hope becomes wish, becomes struggles…

Thanks for your feedback

UPDATE: My bad, I forgot the #57 is a 5mm stitch width foot. Back to working with the #97D and seams guides, etc. <3

Recent haircut doesn’t work for me- ideas?

68yo, cut and color a couple weeks ago. It’s been a struggle to style since, and I’m not happy at all. Stylist says I “still have a lot of hair but it’s fine.” Shall I return for a recut, a pixie (Lord help me I’ve spent sooooo many years in that cut) or what?
Thank you for any and all advice!
