Kona grill dog on chair update

I hope this all finds you well and merry.

Just wanted to share that I did hear back from the health dept regarding the dog eating at Kona grill on the chair and bar top. At this time, the city of Denver did issue a violation.

I’m new to Reddit so not sure how to cross post or update that post. I had posted this in Denver/food sub.

Have a great day everyone. This may get removed since I’m not sure it’s in the correct sub.

Edit: here is the original link. I didn’t know I could add it. https://www.reddit.com/r/denverfood/s/JS45HQmttT

Tried Marinas Italian today in Denver

So our friends group tried Marinas Italian today and it was pretty good. My camera quality isn’t the best. They had a Tuesday special. It’s in a strip mall in Denver off Parker road next to a neighborhood Walmart near four square mile.

I forgot to take pics of the garlic knots but I ate 5 cause they were good. I also didn’t take a pic of the Caesar salad but the restaurant has a Tuesday special on pasta.

Surprisingly, I didn’t realize they don’t serve alcohol until I left and went home. Our group didn’t care. It was a lovely night and everyone enjoyed their food and the server was very attentive. I think the owner served us. This was my first visit and I would go back.

This is probably in the incorrect subreddit but whatever…I’m doing war of of the roses and finished becoming Elizabeth? Is there anything to watch on mary Tudor when she was Queen?

I heard something is in the works..thoughts? So far I’ve watched, the white queen, white princess, Spanish princess, the Tudors, becoming Elizabeth. Whats next?

Is it true Christianity doesn’t allow people to practice yoga?

Talked to my friend who is Christian today and was telling her to come with me to yoga because it would be free to bring her under my guest pass.

She said yoga conflicts with her Christian faith. She didn’t say it was a sin but I could not find the correct flair to add to as this question?

Is practicing yoga a sin in Christianity? I mentioned energy of your ancestors and community etc. thanks.

I loved my Sap sua happy hour experience today

I decided to walk in to sap sua today when they opened. They sat me in the dining room. It was clean and I let them know I wanted the fried cat fish sandwich listed on the happy hour menu.

They had a fried chicken sandwich instead. It was still worth it. I ordered that, water with lemon and my server was nice. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the appetite to get more items.

I did get the pho black tea tiramisu and it was divine. The owner Ni served me the tiramisu and he was so nice. My server was also kind and even asked if I had any allergies and he wrote down my response.

Most places don’t even do that, so to me that was extremely valuable. It was delicious. I did find out their bakery is opened Saturday and you can SIT in the restaurant to eat your items. I was not aware of that before.

However, they don’t have decaf espresso or decaf coffee so I would have to get their Vietnamese French press on a weekend when I can stay up since I’m caffeine sensitive. The owner was also very nice and I do plan on returning.

*It was my first visit.

Dogs on chairs and eating off counters in restaurants in Denver

I cropped the dog owner out for privacy and safety but here is a dog on a patio in Denver at a main restaurant sitting on a bar top chair eating off the bar counter.

The dog owner is super excited and showing her dog at puppy age.

Why has Denver gotten so tolerant of this behavior at food establishments and grocery stores? Is it allowed?

Edit clarification: it’s not a service animal. It has an ask to pet me tag.

Another clarification: dog owner was showing the photos of the dog when it was a puppy on her cell phone.

Update: I grabbed the general managers card so I can send an email with feedback

Another update: I filed a grievance with the health department!

I love Elemental Bakery in Denver

I love elemental bakery and went there for the 3rd time since I discovered them back in January.

Their coffee is good and I got a baguette, sourdough loaf and some pastries. It’s going to be a heavy calorie weekend and I’m here for it.

Sap dua fried cat fish happy hour

Has anyone ever had the fried cat fish sandwich off sap sua’s happy hour menu? I almost went today but held off cause I have food at home and didn’t wanna drive in traffic.

What else is good there? Thanks.

Shout out to cart driver Rhino tonight - happy hour

I left madama butterfly at elie caulkins and had been craving a pizza for 3 days.

Thank Goodness for Cart Driver *Rino - first visit for me. Someone mentioned a deal so I looked it up and went. Got the daisy pizza for their late night happy hour and ate the whole pie. Next time, I’m requesting less tomato sauce but it was still grub.

This wasn’t planned post opera show and it was all so delicious. Can’t wait to go back to try the sardines. Took pics for kicks lol.

Staff were friendly! Thanks lady with blonde hair at the register and the red head doing the serving and the cool dude with the av’s hat.

I went to origami den with *friends last night and the sushi rolls were delicious. Others didn’t really like the non sushi entrees. We got free ice cream for Asian restaurant week. I did like the vibe and would go back for the sushi. The drinks were good too.

Why is it that anytime I comment in this subreddit since I’m in my 40’s and woman, my DM’s have a request from a guy that I have no interest in communicating with?
