I can’t explain my horror today when a mobile wheelchair middle aged man wipped out in front of traffic about 9:15am, I thought I would be a witness of something so awful for a few seconds and tried to move my arms but the woman breaked. She seemed terrified. Thankfully no one behind her was hurt, I hope she and all are okay including the pedestrian

I am short so I can’t see cars and always do my best to wave and stop on blinds on that street but I can’t stop thinking of the actual second difference on this turning into something awful, I wish I could forget! Take care!!

Windows 11 laptop unable to boot successfully without installation media USB

This an Lg gram 2 in 1 that I got about a year ago.

Had an issue with “your PC ran into an issue” force restart a couple times a week recently, then 3 days ago got stuck on the BIOS screen (version 2.22.1293).

No typical resetting defaults/etc worked (tried like 50 different things)

I ended up creating a Windows 11 installation media on a USB drive on a working computer: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

Then I reset bios to USB and it booted up.

Following typical guides I went to Recovery options > Advanced startup > after that loads Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup repair - says "Your device ran into a problem and couldn't be repaired / Couldn't connect to Log file X:\windows\system32\logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt " - I spent a lot of time troubleshooting this and it didn't work

I then tried Recovery options > Fix problems using Windows update > Reinstall now > restarted > checked the srt issue no longer occurred > reordered to no longer need usb and unplugged

It was fine for a day then I noticed this morning it was back in bios mode. Works with the USB, updated windows, but got the SRT error again.

Any advice appreciated

I am 4’11” woman in my 20s and today had some teens sweving their bikes just to say sorry when they realized they’d scared me a bit.

Most of the ones actually throwing objects at people are like 8-11 years old.

I do consistently get the “big teens” being polite with me.

I encountered a mob of a dozen of 9 year olds on a bike path the other day and one made a joke but left me away (they were taller than me).

I’d be so ready to go into a character assasination if they actually touched me but most of them are pretty decent
