Small screen for “now playing” songs?

I have the start of my vintage stereo system and I’ve been thinking about the steaming aspect. Been dl’ing a lot of FLAC files and I’ll either (if it’s possible) bump some of them to reel to reel tape and some I’ll just stream. Since most DAC’s don’t have a big screen, is there way to have a separate iPad sized screen set up to show the cover of the album I’m playing somehow? It’s not a crucial item, but it would be cool to have.

The funky stuff

Since I started getting into Young Gun Silver Fox I have been crate digging and YouTube searching for that 70s sound that I kind of missed out on when I went through it as a preteen. YGSF aren’t fusion but kind of led me into sampling some fusion artists. I appreciate the music, but I tend to enjoy the funkier side of it. My question to you guys is when it gets too funky. does it stop becoming fusion? For example, a lot of George Duke stuff gets super funky and Herbie Hancock’s “Getting to the good part” is one I love and I wonder if the fusion guys turn their nose up to a song like this?

Keep losing my MidiRemote

I use a couple midi controllers with my setup. For some reason, they just stop working. Not sure what I’m doing to make this happen. Is there something I can do, once I lose my MidiRemote function, to reset or bring back the functionality instead of having to create all new surfaces? It’s very annoying but I love using the midi control! Thanks!!!!!

Types of sign drawings and their purpose?

Been working in the industry for a few years now and still struggle with what exactly to include in certain types of drawings and proofs for projects. The proofs I'm talking about are the drawings you send to a client, concept and then after a few changes a final proof. So, there's two types. Then when it's all approved- permit and shop drawings. I'm never sure what or what not to included in these various types. No one has ever complained, but I'd like to know I'm doing it kinda correctly. Maybe I add too many dimensions in my final proof drawings. How detailed do I need to get for shop drawings when I'm not building the thing. Couldn't shop drawings be the same for permits? What do you all think? How do you set up all your phases of drawing/proofs?

Sample track sync to to half time

I’m trying to use a percussion loop with a BPM already on it so I am using the sync button to line it up timewise with my track. That works! Unfortunately, it plays at double time and I want it to play at halftime. How do I make that happen?

The shocked YT thumbnail!

Social media is killing me. Maybe I’m getting older, maybe people are getting dumber, I dunno. But all this AI bullshit is taking over the internet and it’s making me crazy. The YT channels I like to pop in on are slowly starting to use more and more of these AI generated images of the people/hosts on these channels in this mock shock and awe. It’s so fucking stupid, forced, lazy and fake. Take a fucking real picture! And don’t make those dumbass faces! I can only think someone has told these people that you have to make those faces to get more eyes on your videos.
