Moving in 3 days but tenancy agreement still hasn’t been signed. What do we do?

We’re meant to be moving into a new flat in 3 days and I honestly don’t know what we’re supposed to do at this point.

We paid the holding deposit to the agency a week ago, did all the referencing and that’s now passed. But apparently the property is owned by a group of landlords and they still need to approve the references and sign everything off before we can get the tenancy agreement.

I’ve been chasing the agency and they’re basically saying they can’t do anything until the landlords get back to them.
But we’re now 3 days away from the move-in date, and it’s just a bit mad that we still don’t actually have a signed agreement.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is it normal for things to still be up in the air this close to moving?

And is there anything I should be doing now, or do I just have to sit here and wait for this group of landlords to reply? I’m getting more stressed by the day..

How hard is it to rent if one partner is claiming UC?

My wife and I currently live in a one-bedroom flat and we’re expecting our first baby in September. We’ll probably be fine for the first year, but we’d ideally like to move into a two-bedroom place before he turns one.

The only thing I’m worried about is that my wife will probably still be on maternity leave by then. Statutory maternity pay is so low that she may also be claiming Universal Credit.

I know landlords can be reluctant to rent to people receiving benefits, so I’m wondering if that’ll hurt our chances, even though I’m working full-time?

Something went wrong with the 5th dose

Hey guys, I’m hoping someone can help me understand what happened.

I extracted the 5th dose from a 15 mg pen into an FMS 32G 8mm 1 mL insulin syringe. In the first syringe, the liquid seemed to sit on the 33 mark.

Because that seemed much lower than expected, I thought something must have gone wrong and attached a second syringe in which the liquid appeared to sit somewhere between the 10 and 40 markings.

Now I injected both but I’m not sure how much that actually equates to because I know you’re supposed to read the position of the black stopper rather than the liquid itself? Sorry, I know I made a mess 😭

EDIT: forgot to mention on the second syringe, I tried to prime a bit and some bits of foamy medication came out almost like a little "explosion". The pic I took was after that

EDIT 2: thank you all so much for bearing with my incompetence, I really appreciate you!

Upgrade from 14PM to 17PM?

Hey guys, need some opinions because I genuinely can’t decide.

I’ve had the gold iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB since launch. I replaced the battery around 5 months ago and it’s already down to 90% battery health. The battery life isn’t great anymore and the phone gets hot way too easily, especially when I’m shooting, editing or just using it heavily.

For context, I’m a professional photographer, social media manager, and I also run my own business which relies a lot on aesthetics, so my phone is basically a work tool. I’m constantly taking photos and videos, editing content and stuff like that. 256GB has become a pain too, so if I upgraded I’d definitely go for 512GB.

The only thing putting me off is the phone itself. The 17 Pro Max just isn’t that nice looking? I still think the gold 14 Pro Max looks way more premium.

I’ve also seen people saying the iPhone 18 range will probably be even more expensive, which has me thinking maybe now is the better time to upgrade.

If you were in my position, what would you do? Is the 17 Pro Max a worthwhile upgrade from the 14 Pro Max, or would you wait another year?

Newborn daytime sleeping?

Hey guys!

We're expecting our baby boy in September and live in a
1-bedroom flat. We've got the IKEA Sniglar cot for him to sleep in at night next to our bed.

What do people usually do during the day? We spend most of our time in the kitchen/living room, so we don't want him to be in the bedroom all day.

Would you get a Moses basket, a bouncer, or something else? Just wondering what everyone found most useful, especially if you live in a flat.

Thank you!

15 mg – Does weight loss slow once you're close to goal?

Hey guys, for anyone who's reached (or almost reached) their goal weight.

I'm a 160 cm male, currently 57 kg with a goal of 50 kg. I'm on 15 mg and still maintaining a quite significant calorie deficit.

Did your progress slow a lot toward the end? If so, how long did it take to lose those final kilos, and did you change anything or just stay consistent?

Suppression vanished?

Hey guys, I'm on my second week of 15mg. During the first week the appetite suppression was really strong, and I also had quite a bit of nausea, bloating and banging headache.

I did my second 15mg injection yesterday, but this time I don't feel any appetite suppression at all? It's such a big difference compared to last week.

Is this normal? Has anyone else had one week where the suppression was really strong and then the next week felt like it wasn't working? Did it come back after a few days or with your next injection?

5th dose success?

Hey guys, instead of extracting the golden dose with an insulin syringe, I twisted the pen quite hard and was able to inject the remaining liquid.

Has anyone else done this? Looking at the photos, does it seem like I got the leftover dose correctly, or is there a chance the dose was inaccurate?

Thanks so much

Edit: it was 60 clicks for the golden dose as well

Restarted after a 1 year break

Hi guys, I was on Mounjaro before and eventually got up to 15 mg. I stopped in June 2025 because it seemed to stop working for me. The only thing I was really getting at that point was sulfur burps, but my appetite was pretty much back to normal.

I decided to restart and took 2.5 mg around 1 PM and then another 2.5 mg around 6:30 PM yesterday, so 5 mg total. It's now almost 24 hours later and I honestly feel nothing. No appetite suppression, no fullness, no nausea, no side effects, nothing. I can eat exactly the same as before.

For anyone who restarted after a long break, did it take a few days to kick in? And if you had previously maxed out at 15 mg, did you have to work your way all the way back up to 15 mg before it started working again?

Just curious about other people’s experiences because I was expecting to feel at least something from 5 mg :(

Refused by Lotus

Hi all! My last 15mg Mounjaro shot was done last June and I was trying to get back on it with Lotus.

My height is 160cm and weight 64kg, so thought they'd support but it wasn't the case. What would you recommend doing? Are there any other providers open to accept patients with a BMI of 25?

Thank you all so much
