Base of blurb there will be betrayals that will split the IC hence splintered harmony. We know Rhys wasn’t happy with Nesta’s decision of helping Bryce. What if Elain betrayal is what push it? She might want to be human again and got manipulated by Koshei instead?

I know some think its Gwyn, but if she is the betrayer it will only hurt Nesta and Emerie. It doesn’t really split the IC. Some say it might be Mor, but she would have already done it while Rhys was under the mountain. Some say it will be Amren but she was willing to sacrifice her life in Hybern war so I don’t see it. Plus most reader want her to stay dead so her betraying wouldn’t land much.

Some say it might be Azriel due to him being angry at Rhys for stopping him to pursue Elain. Again, I don’t see it. I actually don’t think he was still angry at Rhys at all. He did follow Rhys order, he was happy for Rhys when the baby arrive, and he was angry at Nesta for Rhy because of the Bryce situation.

This leaves me with Elain. She’s the only one that can create an impact and leave IC split. Rhys will try to do what best for the Night Court. Feyre will have her sister’s back. Nesta will also have her sister back. Mor and Amren will have Rhys. Both Cassian and Azriel will be split. We might even get the sleeping beauty retelling for Elain on this. This might also what sets the adventure to Dusk and Autumn.

I know Elriel love this narrative for their ship, but I don’t think its true at all? While Mor didn’t choose Azriel as her lover (which we know why) she chose him as her found family. Both Rhys and Cassian choose him as their brother. Rhysand mother also choose Azriel. We also find out Azriel mother is alive so he clearly is love there.

As for Elain, among the sisters she has the most choice. She was able to choose not to do any of the hardwork while they were poor. She get to choose who to be engage to while in human. Even now, she get to just choose tendering to her garden and helping out with the trove now that she’s ready. Also, among the characters in the Acotar she has the least trauma.

I really want a scene in the book for this. I want their first solstice gift scene with them as friends first. I want Azriel to give Gwyn a custom Dagger made by him. He has to make up for that necklace, but I don’t see Gwyn liking jewelry much. And maybe Gwyn will give him a friendship bracelet?

SJM said she doesn’t like writing first time sscene hence we didn’t get Lorcan/Elide scene and also her heroine are all non virgin. Since Gwyn was SA and never been a man, how do you think SJM will handle it? Specially when she said Azriel is the most freaky of the Batboys?

I was just watching off campus and the female was also SA. I love how they handle the first sscene with the couple. I really want Azriel to be willing to be tied down with ribbon while Gwyn explore his body. I also want Gwyn to ask him a different dagger lesson. 😂

Or do you think SJM will have them be together after Gwyn already experience all those things with a different male?

While I don’t see it for the male in Acotar to ever reject their mate, I do wonder if he will be the first? I can see SJM trying not to be predicatable anymore with her latest books. That might be why we now have 4th trove instead of her neverending 3’s. Quinlar was also the first relationship that was endgame from the start. There’s also a possibility of rejecting mates. So I wonder?

Also, if Mor suddenly give Azriel attention do you think he will drop your ship?

She did say that sometimes nature make mistakes, but the example that she gave are Tamlin and Rhys parents who we know that both their fathers are cold/cruel. Does one of the pair need to be cruel in order for it to be nature made mistakes? We know Lucien isn’t unless SJM changed his character development.

I will get it more if a pair was married or in a long term relationship and suddenly one of them found their mate. That I could see a rejection of a mate. I would understand more if this is the case for Azriel and Elain, but it wasn’t. I get the appeal of choosing Azriel rathen than her mate. But wouldn’t Azriel mate choose him too?

Does IRS not question that tax write off when its just obviously a vacation with her friends? Why isn’t she doing it for her loyal customers?

I keep reading that they’re friends that will turn to lovers, but I see his friendship with Nesta more? I know that they stay up at 3 am and they spend time in the garden, but to me it feel superficial. When we get to see the bonus chapter they barely know each other at all. On SJM interview she said that Elain are dealing with some sh*t, but why isn’t Elain confiding with Azriel if they’re friends? Those two feel like they only know each other on the surface. Yes, Azriel guess that she is a seer, but I feel the other characters also would have found out that too.

I don’t doubt that Azriel cares for Elain, but I think part of that is also because she is the high lady’s sister. Azriel is also willing to die to keep Nesta safe when Nesta put on the mask.
