trigger shot iui

hi

this is our first iui cycle. we triggered on the 27th and did our iui on the 28th. we’ve been testing the trigger periodically— just to see what it looks like. it’s been getting consistently lighter but yesterday it was very faint, and then today it’s the same so it feels like it’s stalling. has anyone had experience with this? i know it’s very early to be testing still but this is all just very new. :)

chinese holidays

hello ! my spouse and i are currently going through fertility treatments to have a baby. the donor we chose is chinese, and we are trying to research chinese culture as much as we can before the baby is here. what are some important holidays/cultural aspects that you grew up with?

we already read about the 100 day celebration for babies, and we've done research on lunar new year as well as the mid-autumn festival. i'm just sure we are missing something, as sometimes it is hard find stuff like this on google!

thank you for all of the help!

Baby names?????

Hello.

Hopefully this is the right subreddit for this kind of question. My wife and I are planning on havina our first baby soon. She is Micronesian, and I am Caucasian. She will be carrying our first baby.

When chosing a donor, the most important thing to us was carrier screening results. We ended up chosing a donor whos results we felt comfortable with. He is also Chinese.

We are unsure of what to do name wise. On his profile. it simply says he speaks Chinese but doesnt specify any further. We initiallv wanted to give the babv a Chinese name as a middle name as a nod to their culture. But neither of us speak any chinese languages, and dont even know where we would start with that. If anyone has been in a similar situation, what did you do? Any kids in similar situations, what do you wish your parents did? or didn't do? We iust want to make sure they feel connected to both sides of themself

We're currently leaning towards an English first and middle name. as we don't want to start their life with an insensitive attempt at inclusion. But im curious to hear an outside perspective.
