Can Zyn cause chest pain?

3 months ago I quit vaping and started using zyns to try and be “healthier.” Ever since then, I have had shortness of breath and chest pains almost everyday. I have been to the Emergency room multiple times since then thinking I was having a heart attack. All of my tests (EKGs, chest X-rays, chest CT scan, echocardiogram, stress test, 7 day holter monitor, and bloodwork (troponin) have come back normal. I also have Pots but have never had any of these issues before. I also never had these symptoms while vaping. I’m wondering if anyone else can relate to this? I just find it odd that I’ve been using nicotine for 2 years without any issues, and after starting zyn these symptoms started.

Panic attacks/anxiety, adrenaline dumps, pots symptoms, heart attack, or something else?

Hello! I am looking for any help or feedback. For the past few months I have been struggling mentally and physically. I was at my best friend’s bachelorette party at a sketchy bar when all of the sudden I got hit with this sense of impending doom. I got really hot, couldn’t catch my breath and felt very nervous. Ever since then, I have been struggling with shortness of breath, chest pains, nausea, fatigue and much more. I have been to the walk-in clinic and ER about 6 times total in the last two months. I have had multiple EKGs, blood tests (including troponin), chest X-rays, a 7 day holter monitor, a stress test and an Echo. All came back good. However, I am still dealing with the chest pain and it’s scary every-time. It happens everyday- some days it’s shooting pain other days it feels like something heavy is sitting on me- it has radiated to my arms and jaws before. Last time that happened, I went to the ER and the Dr made me feel bad about coming in. I told him my symptoms and he looked and me and said, “so you came to the ER? You do realize we are only here to treat life threatening emergencies.” I explained that since the pain was different/new because it radiated to my arms and jaw, I wanted to get it checked out as those are the same symptoms as a heart attack. I have not been back to the ER since but have wanted to when the chest pain starts, especially since it can be different. Last month, I was in the ER 3 days in a row. Although everything was good, I still feel as something is wrong with my heart and every day I’m experiencing these symptoms and have the worst anxiety. I constantly find myself checking my oxygen levels and googling my symptoms which I know isn’t good. I also have POTs. Does anyone have any similar experiences or know if this could be panic, anxiety( I do take Sertraline) but still feel anxious, adrenaline dumps or Pots symptoms? I am tired of thinking I am having a heart attack everyday. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. #pots #panicdisorder #heartattack

Pots

Hey all! I was diagnosed with POTS in 2020 via a tilt table test and I am now 24. I was pretty much symptom free, until 2 months ago. I was out at a bar for my friend’s bachelorette party and all the sudden I felt like I couldn’t breathe, my heart was pounding, my chest hurt and I was sweating. Ever since then, I haven’t felt right. Everyday has been a struggle and I feel like I’m dying. I am still having shortness of breath, chest pain, pain in my back and legs, fatigue and just overall really shitty. I have been to the ER 2 times, the walkin clinic, and to see my primary care provider since then. All of my tests have come back clear (3 EKGs, 7 day holter monitor, bloodwork(troponin), echocardiogram, and chest xray. It’s very frustrating when I know that something is wrong because I know my body and I don’t feel like myself, I don’t want to do anything other than sleep. I don’t know if I should go back to the ER when I’m having these chest pains and shortness of breath. Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice or other thoughts you think it may be? I’m desperate to start feeling like me again and get better. Thank you.
