What happens when luxury brands cannot control the narrative on social media?

Business of Fashion examines what happens when the social media clients consume is not paid for by the respective House, but rather by the client at the bottom.

Kitty had an emergency vet visit 2 weeks ago but now needs follow up w a primary vet. He is a senior cat (about 12 or 13) and previously a stray. He is taking an OTC flea medication, but he also has some eczema (?) and just needs some general health things checked up on.

I'd like to avoid a corporate chain if at all possible, but if anyone has any specific vet recommendations I'd really appreciate it :)

And since I'm here: shoutout to SAGE emergency who took wonderful care of him. Not an ad, just appreciate not being charged out the ass or taken advantage of like at other clinics i've been to (cough cough MedVet)...

In the interest of building a public portfolio, I'm willing to offer some free design work. I have experience in UX/Ul, branding + story telling, social media, and some CAD work. Very experienced in traditional drawing / sketching. l can produce smaller scale prototypes (anything under 36" generally).

I have worked previously in UX design w Google

(2019) and content creation for a large media agency (2020-2024). I've been working sales since then and i hate it with a passion. My heart belongs in design.

I'm in school now for Product Design and just looking to build upon that. If you're interested, you can DM me with what you're looking for and we can collab!

Thanks for reading :)

The Bezos Ball is finally behind us, let's review !

Nicole Kidman looked amazing but when doesn't she? Could've gone without the chicken sleeves personally.

Jennie's looked basic at first but once she started hosting the dress was killing it, really looks better in movement.

A$AP would've killed it without the jacket.

Margot gave us nothing (as usual w CHANEL).

Lily-Rose is cute, super 1920's, works well for her. Someone said baby shower, lol.

Ayo looks uncomfortable and kept disappearing into the crowd.

Gracie looks like a literal portrait, 10/10 no notes.

They did Bhavitha Mandava soooo dirty imo, I don't even want to get into it rn.

Awar was having fun and I liked the beading, however it wasn't giving "Chanel" I felt.

These are, of course, of my own opinion. Would love to hear what you all thought!!

Hi ladies !! I'll keep it short but this is house was custom built in the 1980's and only had one owner. My partner & I recently purchased and the house is a bit dated and we are working on a lot of upgrades, but I truly love the primary bathroom the way it is 🙈🙈 My only struggle is finding out what the heck this spot is for, if anything? There is a large storage cupboard underneath, but that's it. You can see my lazy attempt to make it cute LOLLL. I'm puzzled. I would love some ideas !! I tried looking on Pinterest but I don't even know what it's called, if it has a name. (and yes i know i need a bigger curtain 😩😩)

IMO this is one of the most flattering and wearable collections I've seen in recent years. I love almost all of the dresses. I'm a US 14/16 (which in Chanel ranges anywhere from like a FR 40-46 depending on the style), and I'm just LOVING all of the flowy movement and decolletage happening. Sometimes I find Chanel RTW very compacting and boxy on the silhouette, esp if you're busty. This feels more elongating and elegant w just the right touch of sexy. So so perfect imo

I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of handbags in general, but there are certainly some cute accessories. Waiting to try everything on!! Has anyone picked up anything yet ?? Show & tell w the class please 🙏🏼

Pechuga_vintage, a reputable stylist and collector, shares how netizens reacted to the CHANEL half shoe. Besides appearing impossible to walk in, rumors on the price point have ranged from $800 - $3,200. Comparisons to Denma have also come up, questioning whether this is the really next era of Chanel's innovation, and if it leaves more to be desired (like maybe the rest of a shoe). While Chinese consumers have seemingly had a sway on the luxury industry over the last decade, is it going to finally bite back against fashion houses?

Be it a creative leap that didn't stick the landing, an attempt to have a viral moment, or simply testing consumer spending limits, this half shoe seems to be the only thing talked about from the latest cruise show. By chance or by design? And is all PR good PR?

Today is also launch day for Coco Beach in select locations, is anyone making it into the boutique today? Would love to hear your ladies' take on everything. Happy Thursday!

Almost mowed me down going 60 MPH in a residential zone in a giant ass Jeep, only to pull into a coffee shop and 4 or 5 young ladies pile out. Very young looking crew who were all giggles.

10:30 am near Bollinger road. Could've been really bad. I get it, I was 15/16 once but they were FLYING and acting like nothing happened.

Also stop giving your kids tanks when they look like they can barely reach the pedal, please and thank you.

I currently work for a top fashion brand with its new creative director, and truthfully I think my time has come to its natural end here.

I have experience in product design and high-end event coordination. I only see retail jobs out here.

I really don't want to leave the Bay, but anything in line with my work seems to be in NYC, which I am desperately trying to avoid.

Does anyone know which brands out here I can look towards, or even smaller design studios hiring? I'm flexible and love to collaborate while owning my own responsibilities.

Many thanks, and please ask any questions you want. 🥲

This is the first time (for me) that I did not see Blazy's vision at all. This seemed like a macabre mash-up of LV, Balenciaga, and last minute prototypes or grasps for a media moment. I, for the first time, did not see a single piece of RTW that was going to work for me. Overall very disappointing, but holding out hope for the next show. This is, of course, only my personal opinion. I'd love to hear your ladies' take on it :)
