Found a bedbug…

Found a bedbug…

Well…I’ve been getting mysterious bites on my arm for two weeks. Not every night, just a few nights. Checked multiple times for bed bugs and couldn’t find anything. Only noticed bites on the same arm every time it happened. This morning I roll over in bed and noticed my arm was super itchy again, I could feel a couple of new bites…turned my phone flashlight on and sure enough, there’s a bed bug right there on my pillow.

After a mild panic attack, I searched my entire bed and pillow. Can’t find a single sign of more bugs, but I know I should assume there are more. There is no poop or anything else. I don’t know if this is a male or female, or the age of it. I just know my child had them at her dad’s house two months ago and now they’re in my house. I can only imagine they’re upstairs in my daughter’s bed too if they’re in mine.

I can’t believe I’m dealing with this right now, I have been up for hours and it’s not even 7 am yet. I have a large household and don’t know how to handle all of this with very little money or help from anyone. There are multiple beds, furniture, so much bedding, clothes, etc. I just bought a brand new couch this year. I don’t have a dryer with heat at home. Spiraling thinking about everything that we could lose because of this.

RICH WARM BROWN BLUSH?

I’m as white as a sheet of paper…tell me why one of my choices for Extra is a blush in the shade “rich warm brown”…Ipsy pissing me off bad lately. I’m sure it works for someone but why? I have only pinks and peaches selected, I already get too much blush from them. Already canceled original after another disappointing bag this month. 🌝

Anything I should add on?

Are there any add-ons right now that are life-changing? I’m trying to decide if I want anything before finishing my bag up.

Venmo Goods & Services

Hello! I purchased an item from someone online using Venmo Goods and Services. I do this a lot and have never had any issues with it. This time, however, Venmo is telling the seller that they will need to wait 21 days to receive the money I sent. Right now it’s just stuck on pending and neither of us has it. The seller is refusing to ship my item until the 21 day hold has passed but I don’t believe that’s fair and I don’t think that’s the proper thing to do in this situation. The seller has reached out to Venmo and they do not seem like they will release the money earlier but I suggested that maybe having proof of a delivered package might help with that. Seller is not budging and is implying that I should have just trusted them and paid Friends and Family like “everyone else does” that they sell to.

Am I right to expect my item when I’ve already paid for it? Should I really have to wait 21 days for my item to even be shipped?

I buy and sell online all the time and almost all platforms use a hold system for payments. I wait for my Mercari payouts, eBay payouts…sometimes it’s several days and sometimes it isn’t. I feel like the hold is there to protect both parties and the seller is treating it like I’m lowkey trying to scam them or something.

Rodial Bee Venom Cleansing Balm

I just got this with my last box as an add-on. I’ve been using it for a little while now. I have my own opinions but how do other people feel about it? 👀

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil

I just want to post and say that this product is a game changer for me. I have wavy hair that is always dry and coarse. It is really thick and long too, it touches my lower back. This hair oil has been life changing for the frizz and lack of shine that I’ve had issues with. I’m glad I got this in my Ultimate box and will likely buy again! 🍯
