This one took me about an hour and I made it on a whim after my last shirt went so well (and after finding the perfect base at Goodwill). Wasn’t quite made out of necessity like the other one, there are plenty of replicas for sale, but I figured “how hard can it be?”
The Five Below near my house seems to no longer have Baby Threes in stock, unless they’re being bought up before I can get over there. They used to have the charms of just the head for $5, as well as full body ones for like $10. I’ve checked one or two other Five Bellows with no luck either. Have they stopped selling them? That would suck as those ones were cute and affordable.
My mom got me this hoodie from Hot Topic a while ago, but I’ve been hesitant to wear it because I believe the design to be AI. There’s no glaring tells, but why does the dog have 2 canine teeth on one side? What’s up with the eye shines not being consistent? The line quality also isn’t the best but that could just be the “sketchy” style.
When the first ATWQ book came out, my mom bought it for me for Christmas. I recall knowing what ASOUE was, but I didn’t connect that they were part of the same world until a year later when I picked up the first ASOUE book (after reading the first 2(?) ATWQ books). I’m wondering if anyone else discovered them the opposite way around or if I’m just a weird anomaly.
Just as the title says, one of the main things that repulses me away from romantic relationships is how once you start dating someone, you have to become a completely different person. All of a sudden you’re not you anymore, you’re “___’s partner” or whatever. You’re expected to move in with them and if you don’t put them before the other people in your life then oops, you must not really love them! People stigmatize dating without getting married eventually, and if you’re not in a relationship you’re supposed to be actively seeking one out at all times. But I don’t want to have my worth as a person tied to someone else, I don’t want to have to compromise my life just because the world says I should, and I don’t want to be delegated to “the partner” instead of a person. Maybe it’s just because I’ve had too many friends completely change once they get a partner but I don’t know, I don’t want to be someone’s property.
I’m definitely on the aro spectrum but I’m not entirely sure if it fits me (I’m also allo so my experience is a little different), but it seems like the default icebreaker for people my age is “so are you seeing anyone?” I don’t always feel like explaining the logistics so I’ll say stuff like “oh, not right now” or “I don’t really need a relationship at the moment.” For some reason, I always get a reaction of pity, or even a “oh, well you’ll find someone, you won’t be alone forever” as if I’m even looking for a relationship. I can’t stand this idea that you’re only a complete person if you’re in a relationship or QPR or whatever. Why can’t I just live for me? Why must I find someone secret special person to bond myself to for the rest of my life? It sucks how people don’t realize that you can have a perfectly happy and fulfilling life without a relationship.
I posted a week or so ago trying to find a specific Double Fine shirt that used to be on their website. Still couldn’t find anything, not even a picture besides the one I took, so I shrugged and figured it can’t be that hard to recreate. I put together a G-man design based on some official art as well as the little of the shirt I could see. Still working on the speech bubble, I’m gonna hand embroider the letters.
Met some while out and about today who had a Psychonauts shirt, but I’m not sure what the origin of it is. I tried to reverse image search it but nothing came up. They said they thrifted it, but I’m not sure if it’s custom made or like an old double fine product? Does anyone have any leads?
My grandmother has lost the ability to lift her arm all the way up due to a shoulder injury, and can only get it as far as mid-chest. All of her bras clasp in the back, meaning it’s become very difficult for her to use them. We’ve been looking for bras that clasp in the front, but are worried about looseness in the straps. She won’t be able to slide the shoulder strap back up on her own, and she hates the feeling of loose straps. Any recommendations? She’s around a 32DD.
They sold it at the cafeteria when I was in middle school (2014-16) and I miss them SO MUCH, my favorite was the green apple one. I once saw them at Costco but otherwise I think they were mostly just sold at schools. Did anyone else drink these? You can apparently still buy them on Amazon which is cool.
