I haven't installed it yet but my CC1 is working perfectly right now. Should I do it?

A few of my concerns:

• Tophat design? which is the best? Are there different good ones?

• I have started using TPE recently and have concerns that there will be issues with flexible filaments. I saw there was an adapter by elegoo for the canvas for FF but it wasn't functional, another redditor here linked to a remix, does anyone have experience with FF and CANVAS?

• I read the feeder gears were loose in the canvas for someone and they had to tighten something to make theirs work? Has anyone else seen weird problems that have workarounds or fixes you've had to yo up?

• Is there any difference after installation when you only want to print in one color, like extra or different settings on the printer itself, or in the slicer?

I didn't update the slicer, I didn't do anything differently but now it scratches the corner of the plate all the way through the black to the metal, and when it starts to print that strip, it's off the plate entirely and will drag the plate to the side even with the magnet. I have calibrated. It completes, but also seems weird the plate doesn't seem level when it's doing that, the left side meets the head while the right side still has to go up for a perceptible second
