I have full VA healthcare and Medicare advantage as well (just got on it this month). But I'm confused about what Medicare really offers outside of VA. Currently, I get all my care via VA and/or Community Care and am happy with it, but I'm confused on why and how I should use Medicare. Also concerned that if I see a PCP or specialist via Medicare, there is no coordination between them and VA, so there is a possibility of opposing trx.

Any other vets here that may have some advice or input? Thanks.

Any advice on what are the best hearing aids for constant (loud) tinnitus? Mine was brought on by machine guns, etc. while in the Army many years ago. I'll be getting another audiology exam next week at the VA and they're talking about hearing aids. It's gotten extreme in the last years and I'm ready for anything that will help Most "noise" apps don't do squat.

Looks like the VA is switching us all from Novolog to Merilog. Is anyone using Merilog and what do you think?

The app continually freezes. It takes 30+ seconds to make any entries and often just hangs. Restarting the app, restarting the iPhone doesn't make any difference. This has been going on for a long time. In addition, the reading are consistently 30+ points below meter readings. I've tried multiple meters with the same result. Yes... I am aware of the lag time between interstitial / finger testing. But this is pretty much useless at this point.

Anyone else seeing the same issues? Any fixes? (other than Abbott just building a serious app).
