do the triumph 400s have a hidden mounting for spools?

I was checking out the swing arm when i realised there are 2 holes, at the same place on both sides of the swing arm, but placed facing downwards. it's located a bit after the mounting for the saree guard. could this be just a drain for water? but I don't think there's any way for water to enter into the swing arm so this leaves me confused.

could we, in theory, get a strong L clamp and install standard spools using this hole?

The time to change my air filter has come, and so naturally I started to wonder about the performance options. I don't have any plans in tuning the bike to either a stage 1 or 2. but I'm intrigued by a performance filter cause of the jerkiness in 1st and 2nd gear. and it also has a more prolonged feeling as of a clean, fresh air filter. im currently in favor of the way 2 speed air filter, compared to oil based ones. as it seems like a hassle to clean and re oil those. can anyone guide me on this as I'm finding a lot of contradicting opinions online. and if anyone has a long term review on the way 2 speed air filter, please do share.

I have had this speed for almost a year now (bought in September 25) and have done about 12k kms so far.

The thing that I love most about this bike, is how flickable it is. And it just loves being thrown into corners. It holds the lean so well that i honestly didn't expect it from this segment (for reference I have cornered the street triple multiple times). since mines an MY25 model, it came with Vredesteins and not the H1s. I've heard people saying that the H1s are better for cornering, but I've not had a single second where I thought the tyres the limiting factor. I honestly feel that the Vredesteins have better grip and overall life, cause it's honestly held up very well over the past 12k. whereas I've heard people changing the H1s between 10 to 15k.

Another thing that makes this bike so fun, is the mid range grunt. correct me if I'm wrong but I don't there's any other bike in this segment that just immediately throws you forward any rpm. They rev up fast and have high top end performance, whereas this just immediately dumps all the torque down when launching from around 4k rpm. And the engine braking is also on another level. It's so good that I rarely use my brakes to stop (dw I know how to properly engine brake without disintegrating my clutch plates)

All these add up to make a very fun cornering machine. I think it would definitely benefit if fitted with a pair of road 5s but that would be a bit of an expensive gamble. But nevertheless One of the best and smoothest, overall bike in the segment.

(PS : for anyone else trying cornering, I had my preload set to the 4th click (0,1,2,3). And my weight is around 75kgs)

I know a lot of people were eagerly waiting for this. And luckily, I was able to extract the new watchface apks off firmware files found on Samfrew.

I have attached a link to all the new apks in a reply to this post and also have added the watchfaces of the UI 7 and 8 that I was able to extract.

One small issue tho, as it had a samsung signature defining the model it was meant for, I had to resign it using a test sign. And I think this broke the complications on the watchface, as no data is being synced except battery. If anyone has any ideas to bypass this, please do let me know.

Anyway enjoy these apks till you receive One UI 9 in the future!!
