Indi’s Poole Hill lunch time tapas

I visited the new Indi’s last week and was very impressed. The tapas offer is two dishes and either plain rice or nan bread for £10. Me and my wife picked 4 different dishes a white rice and a nan bread - £20. There was more than enough for us. And it was all exceptional. The offer is from 12noon until 2pm.

I’m posting because it was quiet in there and I think they deserve a lot more customers. Saying that, it was a very hot day on Friday. Which likely put people off. And I understand they are generally busier in the evening. But it’s very well worth considering. It is an amazing bargain for what you get.

Question about brick supporting pillar

Having lived in the house for >25 years I’ve just noticed that one of the double garage walls, the back wall, has three missing concrete blocks. Presumably not deadly serious as it’s been like this for >25 years. Should I get this fixed?

The other two walls, the side walls, are fine. Although one has just the top block missing.

Bonus true story… after moving in, and despite having had a survey, a mate discovered that all of the L-shaped metal bars that should have been holding the timber framing of the roof to the brickwork weren’t connected to the brickwork. They were just resting in position. And had been like that house was built in 1984! (This was very promptly fixed.)

I paid my UK car tax with Amex plat.

Was happy to see I could pay my car tax with Amex . Without any additional fee. Which applies to personal cards.

Helps me on my way to 10k spend.
