My cat is about 18 months old, shes always been pmvery careful and hid from people she doesnt know, at first and eventually come around. She has been increasingly more careful in house, but today I fell down stairs and shes traumatised.

She wasnt near me, but in other room, run out of the house and it took me nearly 3 hours to persuade her to come close to house.. I lifted her up and took her in as its dark now and shes only allowed out during day.. shes hid under sofa and even though my other cat is chilling here, shes scared..

I know it will kae some time to be ok, and upto now I thought its good if shes careful etc, but now i think I need to boost her confidence etx.. any advice please??
