How do you measure the impact of your app on merchants?

For those building Shopify apps, how do you guys track the impact your app is having on merchants?

For example, how do you measure things like:

Revenue generated/influenced by the app
Conversion rate uplift
AOV increase
Additional orders
Overall merchant ROI

Do you set up your own tracking and attribution system?

Would love to hear how other app developers are setting this up, especially for apps where the impact isn’t as straightforward to attribute.

Has anyone actually scaled 2-3 winners in completely different niches from ONE ad account?

Setup: one store, one pixel, one ad account. I test products there and scale the ones that work. Been doing paid social for years, so this isn't a beginner question.

The problem: every time I try to scale a second or third winner from a completely different niche - different product, different buyer, zero audience overlap, it falls apart. The new product never takes off, or the existing winner starts degrading right as the second one gets budget. I've never held two or three unrelated products profitable at the same time in one account.

For anyone who's actually done it:

Did you keep them in one ad account, or split into separate accounts/pixels/stores? Did splitting fix it or just add overhead?

Built an app to reduce distractions during Salah — feedback?

I recently built Ruku, an app that temporarily blocks distracting apps during Salah based on your local prayer times, helping you stay focused on your prayers.

It's still in the early stages, and I'd genuinely love your honest feedback. What features would you add? Is this something you'd use?

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ruku-salah-focus-reminders/id6757424578

Thank you! 🤍

Reddit Title Anyone else struggle to scale multiple winning products from different niches in one general store?

I’ve been running a general Shopify store where I test products across different niches.

One issue I keep running into is that when I find two products in completely different niches that are both showing potential, I struggle to scale them at the same time. It feels like Meta starts optimizing in a way that benefits one product while the other loses momentum.

For example, I might have one home improvement product and one beauty product. Individually they can perform well, but scaling both simultaneously often causes performance to become inconsistent.

I’m wondering if this is actually related to Meta’s optimization and learning, or if it’s just coincidence.
For those of you who have experience with large-scale Meta advertising, which approach would you take?

Keep everything in the same Shopify store, pixel, and ad account.

Keep the same store but create a separate ad account for each niche/product.

Create an entirely separate Shopify store with its own pixel and ad account for each product you want to scale.

Something else?

I’d love to hear from anyone managing multiple winning products across unrelated niches. What has worked best for you, and why?
