[PAID HIRING] Sound Designer Needed for Youtube Channel

[PAID HIRING] Sound Designer Needed for Youtube Channel

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a sound designer for my YouTube videos about movies, cinema, and film analysis.

Reference for the kind of sound design I'm looking for:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crH2pS_CZto

Details:

  • Budget: ₹300 (~3$) per finished minute. For example, a 15-minute video would pay ₹4,500 (~45$).
  • Workload: Approximately one video per week.
  • Video length: Usually around 10–15 minutes.
  • Audio resources: I have an Epidemic Sound subscription, so you can find good music and sound-effects there rather than creating from scratch.

I'm looking for someone with a good taste for music selection, transitions, atmosphere, and well-placed sound effects like the ScreenPuff edit above to create a polished viewing experience.

Audition (Optional): I've included a short test edit here: test edit. Please add your own sound design to demonstrate your skills. This isn't mandatory, but it would help me assess your work, and would be preferred.

Interested folks can DM me their portfolio, test edit, and availability.

Thanks!

Am I a hopeless case? Or is this expected?

Hey guys,

I'll try to keep this short but I genuinely need help and don't know where else to turn.

I'm 23, living alone in India, and I've been dealing with L4-L5 L5-S1 disc bulge issues for three years now. MRI confirmed mild herniations. The pain is unpredictable — some days I'm completely fine, other days I can barely find a position to sleep in. I never know what's going to trigger it or why.

I'm at a point in my life where I want to build my career, work on personal projects, go to the gym, just live like a normal 23 year old. Instead I've spent three years like this, and its mentally exhausting!!

Now, to be fair, my pain has gotten a lot better over the past 3 yrs. I couldnt even walk at home properly before and now at least im able to go to office and work for 8 hrs on most days. So improvement for sure. But I'd like my life to be more than just that yk. Would be nice to be able to run, go on a hike, and do normal stuff rather than lying in bed wondering what I did wrong this time...

I've been to physiotherapists before. All I got was IFT, TENS, and heat packs. None of those things are permanent fixes, and its very costly without any long-term results.

To be clear, I'm not looking for surgery. Infact all the doctors agree that there's no need of surgery whatsoever. So, I guess I need someone experienced enough in the field to identify the root cause of the problem, help me to address it, or at least tell me what to do.

ITS BEEN 3 YEARS FOR GODS SAKE MAN!!!

I looked up Stuart Mcgills' protocol and while it has improved my situation, I get unpredictable flares randomly and I have no clue how to treat it or whats even causing it. Im not sure that theres any doctor in India thats familiar with his line of work either, so not sure what the next step is.

If anyone has a genuine personal experience with a good spine specialist, physiatrist, or sports medicine doctor in this country— I'd really appreciate it.

If you can give me any suggestions, I'd appreciate that as well. Just about anything is good honestly.

Thanks.

[HIRING] Looking for Long Term Voice Actor for a US based Youtube Channel

Hey guys,

So Im looking for a US voice actor for my US based Youtube Channel.

Channel and video details:

  • This is a movie analysis channel where we analyse characters and storytelling in depth.
    • Ex1: Why Zuko has the best character arc in history
    • Ex2: I ranked all Star Wars Movies. Here's the trash!
  • Budget: 20$ for 2000 words, and scales proportionately to script length (so 40$ for 4000 words, and so on)
  • Average script length: 3000 words, and some scripts can be as lengthy as 15,000 words
  • Videos per month: At least 5 videos per month, but I have recently hired an editor and we are targeting to make around 7 videos if possible, so this would be a long term role
  • Payment method: PayPal

Voice Actor requirements:

  • Age Range: 20-30 yrs old
  • Narration: You should be able to comfortably convey dry sarcasm, disappointment, contempt and real enthusiasm. As such, only apply if you can convey those emotions effectively
  • Personality-driven conversational style, not announcement or commercial

For those who are interested, please record the audition script and share it in the DMs: Audition Script

Heres the kind of read Im looking for: https://youtu.be/BDJjfcRxfZI?si=zHkyNz2ARLI4gUxd

Please dont send a generic demo reel. I wrote this script specifically to assess whether we would be the right fit as this would be a reflection of our day-to-day work.

Thank you for your time :)

[Hiring] Long Term Video Editor Needed for Youtube Channel

Hi everyone,

Im looking for a video editor for my Youtube channel, and wanted to know if anyone was interested.

This is basically for a movie review channel, so its just assembling the footage for the most part; no crazy motion graphics or anything as such.

Here is an example of the video Im looking for: When an audition changed cinema forever.
My channel: The Cinema Guy - YouTube

Details for those interested:

  • You are only expected to edit the video. I'll give the script along with the voiceover, and you need to find the relevant movie/ TV series clips corresponding to the voiceover provided, and stitch them together into a comprehensive manner. Again, for the complexity of this editing, please watch the video above.
  • Budget: 300Rs (~$3) / minute as these are really simple edits. The budget scales proportionately to the video length. Avg video length for most videos would be somewhere between 15-20mins with some videos going upto 45-60mins as well, so avg video rate would be anywhere from: [$50, $60] for 15min video
  • Videos per month: Around 3 videos/month and depending upon the partnership, it could increase as well.

I think I covered all bases, but if there're any more questions, please let me know.

Interested folks please DM me and share your portfolio of previous work. Thank you.

VA needed for US Youtube Channel

Hey guys,

So Im in need of a VA for my friends youtube channel. Its mostly a commentary kind of channel, but not like reactive based commentary but more thoughtful and deep thinking kind, so no need for crazy hyper reactions.

Example: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=f3sabZW69s8

Budget: 20$ for 2000 words, and scales proportionately in length.

I was able to find my VA the last time from this sub, so hoping to find one for my friend as well.

If anyone is interested, please DM with a portfolio of your previous work. Or comment regarding the same. Thank you.

[HIRING] Need US/UK Voice Artist for Movie Review Channel

Hi everyone,

Im starting a movie review channel on youtube and need a US/UK based voice actor with mostly neutral accent, and a pleasant voice.

Im looking for light to mderate voice (not deep), mostly in the age range of 20-30, and should be tonally light hearted so audience can listen to it for a while without getting their ears tired, and they can land humor viscerally.

Heres the kind of delivery and tone I expect: https://youtu.be/YmWgp4K9XuU?si=IJ00bQmt4Sp2zh-F

Rate: 40$ for 2000 word script and varies proportionately to script length (i.e. 80$ for 4000 words, and so on and so forth)

If the initial work goes well, this can turn out to be a long term partnership since I am planning on posting 2-3 videos per month for the near future.

Interested folks, please share your previous work as well so I can have a listen. Thank you.

Update: Hired the VA! Thanks everyone for responding :)
