how do you decide if you are burned out by living in nyc and need to move, vs just being in a funk?

Living in NYC was my childhood dream! I've loved it for the past 4 years but as I have gotten older (perhaps more rigid with my routines as well), I've started to feel like the constant stimulation of the city is taking it's toll on me. My quality of life here is objectively worse than it would be if I lived back home on the west coast, simply because I don't make enough to support myself and live super comfortably. My parents help me out a ton which I am so thankful for and is the only reason I can live in the west village, but I feel like a leech as I approach my late 20's. I have been wanting a simpler life as I've come to realize that my main priorities are health and wellness and I have zero desire for any of the late nights and parties. I also am quite jaded about dating here as I've been on SO many dates over the past 4 years. It exhausts me just thinking about it. Can anyone relate or share their own experiences with burnout in the city? I have a few months to decide if I want to renew my lease or move back home.

Best morning heated workout classes you can actually get into?

i have an equinox membership and typically take classes at 3 of the locations near me, but don’t always love the 7-8am offerings. I like to workout first thing in the morning before my brain has any time to convince me not to!! I took fuzehouse and loved but the classes at that time are all waitlisted. I’ve wanted to try practice room but the same situation applies. where else are we going that you can actually get into? preferably lower manhattan as I don’t want to spend 30+ minutes in transit at 6:30am lol.

Where can I get extractions (no facial) downtown?

hi ladies! I‘ve just healed my skin (fingers crossed!)from dermatitis that flared up this winter. I was doing zero therapy, cut out all actives, and took an antibiotic. my skin looks fine now but I have 4 massive blackheads that desperately need to go. I’m afraid of using any of my actives or my tret in case it flares again. I don't exfoliate right now just because my skin barrier was so damaged. any recs for places I can go and just get a quick extraction? my skin girl is in a diff state so im desperate

How do you take care of your legs when you walk a ton?

Need advice from the girls who walk a lot!!

I genuinely love being on foot all the time and it’s done wonders for my mood but I feel like my legs are perpetually exhausted lately. Not even in a sore workout way just like a heavy/lead feeling. Going up my apartment stairs makes my hamstrings feel sooo spent, my legs feel restless at night, and I’ve noticed I’ve been avoiding workouts because my legs already feel pre fatigued from daily life :(

I don’t even realize how much I’m walking until I check my phone and somehow I’m at like 14k+ steps from just existing around the city

I already stretch constantly, foam roll, do legs up the wall, magnesium/electrolytes etc. can you guys relate and if so what actually helps people who are on their feet all the time here. Better shoes (I wear on‘s- spell check me on that maybe haha)? Compression socks? More food? Less walking?? (not emotionally ideal)
