Sertraline 100mg + Mirtazapine 15mg
Hi fellow Zoloft users. I’ve been on 150mg for a while now and been on sertraline for over 4-5 years in general. For months and months I’ve been consulting back and forth with my GP whom recently contacted a psychiatrist for advise regarding my medication.
I have next to no libido, very numb to pretty much most things including sexual feelings too/orgasms ect. We’ve tried adjusting the dose and it was mentioned about potentially adding Wellbutrin (buproprion) however psychiatry advised against this and have now suggested I tried wean down to 100mg sertraline and then add 15mg Mirtazapine.
I’m just wondering if anyone has done this and what your experiences have been? I’m worried about serotonin syndrome increased risk, but I’m also curious as to whether this reduced anyone’s negative side effects relating to numbness or lack of libido/emotional numbness.
