At least I looked good
Today, instead of celebrating Trumps America and its myriad of faults. I am focusing on what I what America can become in the next 250 years
- an America where anyone, regardless of religion, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, economic status, immigration status, or the place in which they were born have a fair chance at Life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness
- an America where anyone can receive medical treatment OF ANY KIND (including hormone therapy) without free of life altering debt
- an America where law enforcement are free from prejudice and people of all kinds feel safe in their presence
- An America where guns are not the number one killer of people under 18
- an America where I can get from place to place by safe and reliable public transport
- an America worthy of respect from all its citizens, and residents, and the citizens of the world
I know it seems impossible right now, but this country has been through hard and difficult times before, and we’ve survived. And I would say that overall, from the America 250 years ago, where the only people that had rights were white, Protestant, land owning men, I’d say we have made great improvements.
What do you want to see change in the next 250 years?
