Q Buffs And Melee Minion Breakpoints

IMO the biggest possibility coming from these buffs is the ability to one shot melee minions with a fully charged W+Q so i did some math to figure out if this is possible or not. We're gonna be assuming you're level 9 with full botrk and dblade for these calculations.

Melee minions gain an "upgrade" at 30s when they first spawn and every 90s after giving them hp and ar. The usual game time when you're hitting the spike mentioned above is about 10 minutes which would put the minions at the 9:30 upgrade 7 and about to hit the 11:00 upgrade 8. This would give every melee minion 675hp and .1ar and 710hp and .2ar respectively. The armor values are negligible so I will just be assuming no armor for these calculations.

The newly buffed Q and the 55ad you have from items and runes plus the 89 base ad you'd have a total of 144ad allowing the Q to do 338dmg to minions. A fully charged W deals 233dmg bringing you to a total of 571dmg and adding in the 9% current hp dmg from botrk gives you an extra 40dmg bringing you up to 611dmg on a melee minion. So without fully stacked passive we still can't one shot melee minions, even once you add on the 45dmg from fully stacked passive you're at 656dmg which leaves us about 19dmg short of being able to one shot melee minions. If you take JoT trades and have the 5 extra AD your your Q does 342dmg, W does 239dmg, botrk does 39dmg and your passive does 46dmg still leaving us at 666dmg which is still 9dmg short of what we would need.

Now there is some cooking that can be done with runes like taking double adaptive which would let you hit that 675dmg mark, I haven't done the math but i'd assume kraken second would easily let you one shot melees but this is what I was able to figure out.

tl:dr with JoT and double adaptive you can one shot melee minions at fully stacked passive but idk if worth

When to go what runes?

I’m fairly experienced on her but did have a few questions regarding runes, obviously i’m gonna be going elec into ranged champs but when it comes to grasp vs conq what do y’all use to justify when to each one? Also is there any reason people don’t go grasp with legend haste + last stand secondary, i’ve played a few games of it and it feels really good imo

Riot Games pls explain this

In the clip you can clearly see i have bought HB and then once i start running out of base it just sells its self and I dont notice, end up taking a 1v1 and losing cause im no where near as strong as i thought I was. Someone pls explain this, this was a ranked game too btw

Is there any solution?

I'm currently P3 with like a 50% wr or something like that and i'm someone that doesn't enjoy playing ranked that much so I prefer to play norms the only problem is whenever i que norms i am regularly playing vs emerald and diamond players and it makes the game not fun cause im just getting my shit stomped every game by players that are much better than i am. Is there anyway to get this fixed or do i just have to play ranked if i want people around my skill level?

Revive Mechanic Explanation Please

Not an Akshan main but I recently played a game where I had killed a Mundo in top lane and a few seconds later Akshan kills my jg who was marked as a scoundrel and revived the Mundo. I always thought that Akshan has to kill the person that killed that specific teammate to revive them, is that incorrect? Would love someone to explain to me how this happened, idk if it matters at all but no one on the enemy team was dead except for mundo.

Terminus 3rd Next Patch???????

For patch 26.15 terminus is getting changed to now include a 10% ad ratio for the on hit damage, I crunched some numbers to see if it would be viable over wits end 3rd item and heres what I found and let me know if your opinion.

*All calculations are done at level 15 bc thats around the time you should be done with 3rd item based on game time. Also the combo I refer to is E1-R-Q-E2-W-Q-Q*

tAD:213>>243

AS:1.55>1.45

MR: 50% dmg reduction>>36% dmg reduction (this numbers assumes you dont go mercs, if you do dmg reduction is 44%)

Item specific: On-Hit dmg goes from 45>>43 which would be slightly weaker initially but be overall more dmg the longer a fight would go on. Assuming you go mercs you would have the same amount of magic dmg reduction at full stacks but getting full stacks on the item isn't always realistic

Passive: Damage at full stacks goes from 72>>78

Q: 234 + 28 health restored 438 dmg to minion>> 255 + 32 health restored 459 dmg to minions

W: 135-405>>147-441

E: 150 *Unchanged*

R: 200 *Unchanged*

Since you're more than likely going to be fighting without full stacks come mid game all of these combo calculations are done assuming you start with zero stacks and will not be factoring in the on-hit dmg from the other on hit items you have

Combo Dmg w/o AA: 1736>>1841

Combo Dmg w/ AA after Q: 2654>>2846

These numbers also dont include the armor pen from terminus so keep that in mind.

imo theres a case here for it to be a viable 3rd item especially against armor stacking opponents. There is also something to be said about being able to do more magic dmg even if they arent stacking armor purely bc base mr is gonna be lower than base armor is going to be but i'll have to see how it feels in game before i can make any definitive claims.

Essence Reaver

Why doesn't this champ build ER, in theory I feel like it'd be really good. Does it have something to do with her base ad or is there something else im missing?

Win lane lose game

I’m a plat irelia main and i’d say i’m able to hard stomp/win my lane like 70% of the time but I can never translate those lane leads into actual wins. Idk if i’m split pushing too much or team fighting too much or what the actual problem is. Any help with this would be very much appreciated

Irelia in pro play

I use to be a hardcore Irelia otp and but have since branched off even though she's by far my favorite champ in the game. With the addition of fearless and the rise in prio of ranged champs as well as champs like yorick, jayce and gnar being blinded perma but Irelia never really being picked into them what do you think is stoping pros from picking her? Also, what if anything do you think would need to change for her to become more viable, would love to see this champ in pro play again?

Vyvanse Vs. Adderall

I’ve had ADD since I was younger(diagnosed around 15/16 y/o and currently 27) and had tried some meds sparingly when I was younger but they really messed me up so took a break until college where I was on 30mg Adderall as needed and then once I got into the workforce I started taking it daily. That had worked well for me, the mental clarity was where it needed to be and I felt great physically. The crashes had become a pain and I started working longer days so I recently swapped to 30mg Vyvanse and have been having some issues:

- Mentally, the clarity isn’t exactly where I was at previously but physically I feel like i’m moving in slow motion. My motor skills just feel so much slower so idk if that’s a sign or low dose or what. Anyone experience similar things?

- Would a switch to Adderall XR instead of IR also be a good solution ftom experience? tyia
