I just finished S3 and here is my take on the season following every character’s plot!

J.R.: my man is outrageous lol. Having an affair with his wife’s sister was rock bottom low. Then he cheated his friends into bankruptcy causing one of them to take his life. I know most of those men are not much better than him, but J.R. is just an evil mastermind! Truly the greatest villain of TV history.

Sue Ellen: what a beautiful and amazing actress. She honestly carried the show this season along with Larry Hagman. I can’t believe they k1lled off Dusty. I know her and J.R. were meant to stay together but Dusty made her so happy and gave her so much hope of a better life full of true love and I was so upset when she lost that chance. I’m really hoping J.R. isn’t able to commit her against her will again.

Kristin: who needs enemies when they have a sister like Kristin 😂 it was SO satisfying to watch J.R. put her in her place every time she tried to imply she was better for him than Sue Ellen. Besides that, the actress is gorgeous and did a tremendous job playing Kristin, I just don’t understand why her and so many other characters were replaced by different actors (Digger, Jenna Wade, Gary)

Cliff: I used to love Cliff but I think that this feud with the Ewings has made him go lower and lower, losing the moral superiority he had on the beginning of the show. I’m getting a little sick of him using every opportunity he has to get back at the Ewings but I understand why he feels that way considering J.R. was willing to let him go to jail for a cr1me he didn’t commit.

Bobby and Pam: I hated to see them struggle this season. I love them together and I hope this season is better for them. I wonder what is going to happen now that they left Southfork but my guess is, it won’t take long for them to come back lol. I just hope that Bobby doesn’t let J.R. and Jock make him just as unethical and unfair as they are.

Jock and Ellie: I’m so sick of Jock and Ellie just standing still and watching J.R. do terrible things like absolutely nothing is happening in front of them. I specially thought Miss Ellie was better than that.

Anyways, I think I already said too much for one post lol, now I’m anxious to know who shot J.R. I have a feeling it wasn’t Sue Ellen. I wonder if Kristin was lying about her coming into the condo drunk and holding a gun! I hope she actually stands by her sister this time instead of plotting against her with J.R.!

I am watching Dallas for the first time and I have no idea about what happens on the show. I only know that J.R gets shot because I guess that was a major episode and is talked about a lot so, please, no spoilers!

I know this isn’t news but I can’t stand J.R. The man has absolutely no redeeming traits. I just watched the episode in which he threatens Cliff and Sue Ellen with having her baby ab0rted and his career ruined. I cannot believe this man is just gonna keep on living his life after ruining theirs! I love Cliff, he’s probably my favorite character, and I wasn’t fond of Sue Ellen at first but I have been liking her way more now. I was hoping it would work out between them but I guess I knew that was wishful thinking.

Anyways, I’m 24 and everything about it is news to me since I wasn’t around when it aired, so I’m enjoying it a lot. Unfortunately prime video only has 7 seasons available.

I literally just finished it and maybe I should wait a little bit to give an opinion but I’m just gonna go for it.

Call me childish, tell me that’s just real life or that we don’t always get what we deserve, but I hated the way Jen died. She should have gotten the happy ending just like everyone else did. I knew what was going to happen to her because someone here accidentally told me but I didn’t know I was going to be this touched by it. It was so heartfelt I couldn’t hold back the tears, probably not only because of their amazing acting but because I am a 24 year old with a 1,5 old little girl. I could actually feel her pain and fear while realizing she was going to leave her child. If anyone here has children, you know that the worst thing that could happen to you and having your child taken from you and vice-versa.

Like every Dawson’s Creek scene, their acting is so so genuine that it doesn’t feel like it’s just a show, but like what they are living is actually real. And these 2 last episodes felt that way more than ever, but that is also a buildup from what the actors had been doing all along.

Jack and Doug was very unexpected and sweet. I was happy that Amy had them, she was very lucky and so was Jen leave knowing how loved her daughter was going to be.

I didn’t like that we had to wait until the last 5 minutes of the very last episode to figure out who Joey was choosing. Maybe I’m alone in this, but I think most viewers wanted to get a little bit of what Joey and Pacey together FOR REAL this time was going to look like. They didn’t need to drag this out for so long to make the show interesting, specially because a lot of the interesting plots until the end weren’t even about them. One thing I noticed is that DC is a show about things that could be. They usually never go forward with the major shifts and decisions, at least not until the very end.

I really do love every character, including Joey, but I was so tired of her by the end. Of course she needs a lot of grace considering she lost pretty much both of her parents and was by far the most damaged one. I’m glad everything turned out well for her and for everyone else, except Jen, obviously. With that being said, I don’t think I’m ever going to rewatch it, just because Jen’s passing is too sad and I don’t want to put myself through it again.

I think her, Dawson and Pacey were my favorite characters in the entire show. They grew so much and were able to escape their own mental bubbles, even if they didn’t realize it. Oh and also Jack, he’s so funny and probably my favorite gay character ever lol. I wish we got to see more of what Andie was up to though.

Later I’m gonna go over all the posts I made and see if I have changed my mind about something lol. If I have any other thoughts I didn’t recall right now I will come back later!

I just watched P&J get stuck at that Kmart and all I have to say is: Joshua Jackson 🤯😫😂 oh my.

Great episode and great acting from the both of them. I was no longer invested in them but I guess I am now (again).

When they’re at the concert and she finds out that Audrey and CJ slept together and she gets all butt hurt about it and calls Audrey pathetic, sad, whatever. Like, Jen has done so much worse to her friends, she should have been more considerate of what Audrey was going through - depression, alcoholism etc. and given her some grace. She’s not exactly the best friend role model. On top of that CJ had never even showed interest in her, on the contrary. So that was annoying
