My money bowl just broke

Hey everyone, hope you're doing well!

I am new to this, and would love some help and your opinions on this. A few months ago I made a money bowl and it has worked for great for a bit. It has been a bit since I wanted to refresh it but I've been putting it off, idk why.

Anyway, inside this money bowl I put a few dollars with written manifestations that connect to a big family thing we have going on. A lot of people are involved in this matter and we have some members from the big family that are fully agreeing and are becoming obstacles. Yesterday, I kind of had a talk with them and it got heated and it didn't go in the right direction, so my energy yesterday and today wasn't the best.

Today, my mom was taking some stuff from my room and told me that something fell and broke the bowl, everything splattered across the room. She was really worried, I wasn't. I was more like "yeah, this too. better that it happened there." BUT I keep thinking about it and what can it mean when a jar or a bowl like this breaks.

Anyone has had any similar experience?

Would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Thank you! 💕

As someone who doesn’t do well with criticism… how can I tell when someone close to me is giving me “constructive criticism” and not just “being mean”?

I tried another forum and it directed me here. Please don’t be mean, I’m trying to imporove and I honestly would like some insights how can you tell them apart?

I had a very rough situation today and I feel completely out of place because of the “criticism” I received from someone very close to me.

The only thing that I can think in this situation is that I wouldn’t use the same words or express myself in the same way about the other person if I thought they didn’t do their best gig… i don’t know…… maybe not everyone is the same, and I’m overthinking, am I too bad at accepting criticism or were they too mean for real.

One thing I don’t do when I try to give my pov on a situation is that I don’t go into “traits” or “personality” of the person, I speak for the gig itself, but i am careful enough to read the room, read their energy, deliver in such way that I don’t come off as too harsh… i don’t know i don’t know… i’m lost

I am not qualified to give out advice, but playing "Penguin Diner" when you feel lost and out of answers somehow helps. idk.

Bonus points, when I want to stop crying 2048 or Impossible 10. Somehow I can't deal with numbers and cry at the same time.

Hope this helps.

The MET gala needs to make the next theme “megical-realism” and invite me, because I know exactly what I want to wear.

hint: italian literature 🥲

My family owns a very successful business that both of my parents run, and they run it very well together. Even though my dad works day and night, for ever since I can remember, I still think that my mother is the most hardworking man I know. I think nothing would've been possible if my dad didn't marry my mom.

Myyyy last day of touching an art tool was in May of 2017, the day I presented my drawing, painting & graphic design diploma in art school, ironically one day after my bday.

Anyway, i kind of changed course into marketing (and graphic design whatever yeah) and for some otherrrr strong reasons, not my career course, my “talent” decided to leave me.

To me it honestly feels like a bad breakup, where they wokeup one day and decided to get away without even leaving a note behind, even tho deep down I might (or not) know what made them leave.

Was talking to someone today while watching some oil pastel videos (pastels where my favourite) and I was like “do you think i’ll ever get back to painting” and they said “yes, why not, for fun you should”… and I burst out “for fun? For fun??? Do you think arts is ‘MY HOBBY’????”

This is not my HOBBY! This is not my FUN ACTIVITY??? This is a part of my identity that I freaking suffer so badly sometimes that it has left me. I don’t talk to much about it because I can get so emotional it feels insane. I don’t even know what to write anymone… i really hope someone gets it.
