I’ll admit that the black metallic paint was a look, but I knew what was underneath. MCM West German planter. Took a couple hours, and a little left to do, but it was well worth the sweat (for me at least).

Too interesting to leave behind at Goodwill for $4.99 each. Hand-blown, and they have lovely ripple marks. There was an equestrian estate in Kentucky that was owned by someone with that name in the 1870’s.

Franz GT Kessler “Lake Superior” table lamp. It was FILTHY! Did a double take when I saw what they retail for. It’s going to cast a nice glow tonight.

Last hour of an estate sale basement impulse buy. I liked the look of it, but never thought it would actually work and keep good time! $20. I had a random clock key in a drawer and it was the right one! 1910-ish Sessions wall clock.

Every time I find a fantastic piece of art, I have to re-arrange my gallery wall. There could be worse things!

When I went to buy it, all the workers at the sale said “he’s getting the x-ray pic!!!” Maybe they were just glad that it was going away 😂. I LOVE it.

No signature, but there’s a layer of newspaper. I could make out “Green Bay Wisconsin” and “obituaries “

Estate sale find. Copper plate or woodblock print. It’s textured, and it seems to have a layer of newspaper behind it. I could make out “Green Bay Wisconsin.” I really love it. Found outside St. Paul, Minnesota.

A box of photos from a long dead firefighter. 1970’s aftermath of the house fire of a doll collector.

Drove by an estate sale and impulse bought these. Minnesota artist Patricia Bratnober from the 70’s. I kept going back to look at them, and I knew I’d regret leaving them.
