2 years ago FB memories reminded me of when I saw this shy cat outside. After my dog passed he got bolder, and would come in for pets, until he got skittish. We asked around, and found out he was abandoned. So we adopted him. He's got a sister void too.

Had a ' you don't know Grand Funk?' moment with my girlfriend, regarding The Police, a decade or so after having a similar one with my then wife.

Back when I was married, my wife (6 yrs younger) saw their lead singer on TV, and said "Isn't that the guy from Sting?" Needless to say, that led to me being incredulous as he was at the time still an international superstar, and his own entity.

Last night I was watching the Synchronity 2 video on YouTube with my (9yrs younger) gf, and told her that story. Her response was... "I thought Rod Stewart was the guy from STING". Needless to say I nearly lost my shit. Somehow, that was worse and about shook my head off my neck.

Anyone else have moments like that?

Had to show gf and kid that this isn't a drug jingle

They were both singing 'mybo' instead of the lyrics. They liked the video though.

Chicago Bears camping table at a roadside flea market.

My girlfriend didn't think it was a great deal until I looked up a new one. Saved $55

My partner and I caught this on Tubi, an anthology series created by Mick Garris, with episodes by Dario Argentina and other horror luminaries. This particular ep was by the legend John Carpenter.

The plot is about a young girl in an abortion clinic, whose forced birth extremist father (Scary ass Ron Perlman) has chased her to the gate, with her brothers in tow, to try and prevent the inevitable. However, the child's father isn't what you'd call normal.

It started out cheesy, with some wooden acting, but turned into straight up what the actual fuck a few minutes in. The VFX go from horrible CGI to a decent looking practical effect monster... Overall, I enjoyed it. Any else see this? Any other episodes you can recommend?
