Can I potentially finish while not enrolled in school?

For context I already learned theory and everything and did speed building for a few months until I took a break for a few months since March due to severe burnout. Now that it's been a few months, and my boyfriend and I moved into a new house so we have lots of space and my mental health is getting better since quitting my toxic job, I'm feeling ready to jump back into it.

With that being said, is it necessary to go back to school at this point? Or can I just pay for ev360 and finish it out myself? Before I took a break I just freshly passed my first 120 entering 140. I'm curious how realistic this is. I was with Allie Hall and I love and adore her so much, but as of right now if I don't have to spend the money I'd like to save if I can.

Edit: sorry forgot to mention I'm in CA!

Went to the dentist and they said I may need a root canal. Endodontist says I don't.

For background I have an appointment with the dentist on Tuesday to get a crown for my other tooth I got a root canal on. When they were analyzing to see if I needed it on this tooth they said they don't think I need it on this tooth. When I go in to get my crown put on, I'm worried they're going to suggest a crown for this tooth. I'm already paying $1000 on this other crown. Is it at all possible I would only just need a filling? Initially when I first went it the dentist they offered to fill it and see if it helps but then they suggested I see an endodontist first. I'm not experiencing any pain or sensitivity in the tooth whatsoever.

31 years old and got my diagnosis today. Can't stop crying lol (in a good way)

Hi friends. For the last few months I've been trying to get appointments set up to see a psychiatrist for the first time as a result of my severe anxiety. I've had really bad anxiety my whole life and it's gotten really crippling the last couple of years. So my goal was to go and officially get medication. Whenever I went to my appointment she asked me if I've ever been assessed for ADHD to which I said no. And she said she wanted to assess me and that it could potentially be the root of the issues I've been having based on my complaints.

Fast forward two weeks later I got my official diagnosis and am starting medication for ADHD. I haven't been able to stop crying all day and I feel such an overwhelming sense of relief. I also literally just started therapy yesterday and my therapist too asked me if I've ever considered getting assessed to which I said FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK. Haha. And today I texted her and let her know I got diagnosed and she called me to congratulate me which broke me.

There's just something about it. Something about knowing after all these years and all this time there's nothing "wrong" with me. I feel so validated and like I can finally begin to start understanding myself more. I'm always so hard on myself and I never give myself grace. This feels like a new beginning. Is this too cheesy?

Did anyone else feel the same when getting their diagnosis?

IWTL how to be comfortable driving on the freeway for an extended period of time

Hi friends. I've been a pretty anxious driver my whole life. I've gotten a lot better in my adult life but I'm still very nervous behind the wheel. I grew up in MS and moved to CA 6 years ago after moving in with my boyfriend so I'm still kind of getting used to freeways. Most of the times when I go anywhere I either take the back roads and just manage my time or if I do take the freeway I'll take it at night when I know there's less people on the road. I'm so so scared of getting into an accident or crashing. I don't have a backup camera or any sort of indicator that someone's in my blind spot or rear other than good old fashioned turning my neck and looking.

My boyfriend and I want to move about an hour away but I still want to be able to visit where we are now for my friends as much as I can. If I take the back roads it would take me 2 hours instead of 1. I just want the courage to do this. I need to do this. I can't keep making excuses for myself.

I had the opportunity to stay home and not work for a while to focus on school and myself and I didn't take it now I regret it.

I (31F) just recently quit my super toxic brewery job. I worked there for three years and I loved everyone I worked with and I was comfortable there but for a long time I was dying to get another job because our department just kept taking on more and more work for zero compensation. So for literally the last like year or so I've just been doing back to back interviews and getting absolutely nowhere. I was losing hope and I just thought I was going to be stuck at this brewery forever.

Also for added background I've also been going to school for the last year for court stenography as well. I really enjoy school but as some people may know with stenography you don't just "finish" school and you're done. With stenography you're done when you can actually do it and with my classes in particular we have to put the work into it on our own time vs. going to classes and having a set schedule and whatnot.

So for a long time I've felt super exhausted and just burnt out trying to balance school and the job. I can't relax on my days off. All I do is just feel panicky and on edge. No games sound fun to me. All my comfort shows aren't comforting me anymore. I try to read a book and I get antsy. So finally I tell my boyfriend (33) how stressed I feel and he tells me that I can just quit my job and we'll figure it out and that he'd float me for a few months until I found something else. I felt immediate relief. He's always been incredibly supportive and helpful. I'd never wanted to ask him if I could quit on my own because I'm very prideful and like to have my own money and hate asking for help so it meant the world to me that he suggested it on his own.

So with that, I immediately gave my job my notice and right off the bat I could feel my mental health improving. I was ALREADY improving in school. I was being more productive around the house. I could feel my spark and love for life coming back. I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. My interests were starting to interest me again. I was excited that I could finally start making plans with my 9-5 friends for the first time in forever.

However right before I quit this job I had a last ditch effort interview at another brewery with an incredible reputation that I'd always would've loved to work for. I was so sure I didn't get it and then the week before my notice was up at my other job I got my job offer at the much better place. And just like that my planned break to stay home and focus on myself for a bit was just gone. And I'm so so heartbroken. I hate it because the new job is great. Everyone is great. I don't have any complaints about the job itself but I feel so fucking miserable and so unhappy because of what my life was supposed to look like right now a month ago.

My boyfriend says his offer still stands and I can still quit this job to focus on school and mental health but he still expects it to be very temporary like 3-4 months but the truth is I don't think I could find something else even remotely like this job in that time frame or at all. It feels so stupid to complain about getting a super cool job. But just like that my days off just consist of me being super anxious and antsy. The days I do work I just sit around feeling the same way until it's time to eventually start getting ready and go to work. I know I'm also just burnt out from working service industry and working late nights. I've never been able to be the type of person who can do anything before work. I just sit around waiting for it to happen.

I have no energy to cook or clean or even look at my computer to do school stuff. I have no energy to take care of myself. I just don't know what to do. I was hoping that this feeling would go away after I've settled in the job for a bit but it hasn't and I'm about a month in at this point. I feel so bad because my boyfriend has been super amazing and all I do lately is cry from stress. My insomnia has also made a comeback too so that's fun. On my days off it's all great too until the sun goes down and that's when my anxiety spikes knowing I've got to go back to work tomorrow. Idk. It's a lot. I could go on all day.
