What gave ET her heavy hitter title?

Was it a NTTV run I’m unaware of? I’m not that new of a watcher, but I’m not a vet either to these shows. I just don’t see it.

These shows are so not worth it…

And you’d be a fool to still audition for this humiliation ritual & health risk…

After rewatching both, I must say!

If it wasn’t for the Victor Twins (who were weak but had great TV personalities) and the replacements (who were treated like gunk but still overcame the weak hardships the main clique subjected them to)—the season would be completely and utterly trash. Oh yeah, and Camilla saving the season…

At least with season 11, we had the origin stories and character developments of Sarah, Janelle, even Shanae. Jenna had no time to shine. The Wolfpack were indeed bullies, and so were Erica and her troops. But in my opinion, at least in Miami they got down where they were mad at one-by-one though they stayed on the same catty accord. Erica never fought alone, ever and she was the perceived toughest. BGC 11 had tiers of entertainment that sometimes distracted us from how bad the Wolfpack really was until they reminded us how bad the season truly was, in my opinion. Even Tiana (second in command) had a level of humility that Gia (second in command) never, ever had!

In Vegas, watching them gang up on Elease was more than trash, it was blatantly corny and outright childish. And then for Elease to join forces with them to pluck off the twins—Janelle never did that. Neither did Sarah. It is such a bad season. Without the twins and the power of nostalgia, it would be a plummeted mess.

Both seasons were awful though, don’t get me wrong. Season 14 comes in as an honorable mention bc those girls vs Clerminah were just as trash too.

Hanna, now a Pilates Instructor

I know ppl’s voices evolve but one of the main reasons she was my fav was bc of that New Yawk accent & how she told Jennavecia “I USE WEAPONS HOOKUH!” 😭

Wendy Kaplan as Tina Williams 🎃

“Tina made me feel that it’s okay to be who I am.”

Kaplan has turned 60 this year & this is almost everything that she has said about her role as, Tina.

She didn’t realize Tina would become such a controversial character

Kaplan said she had no idea Tina was so different from a typical “final girl” when she took the role. She only learned years later that fans debated the character heavily. She noted that Tina wasn’t viewed as a conventional “good girl,” which contributed to the backlash.

She sees Tina as a complex person, not just an annoying character

Kaplan has argued that Tina is often misunderstood. She described teenagers as contradictory and complicated, saying Tina could be loving, rebellious, troubled, frightened, and caring all at once.

She was surprised by some of the finished film

Kaplan has said that because of edits and cuts made during post-production, certain scenes and story elements appeared differently in the theatrical version than she expected.

She never intended Tina to be just an annoying party girl

Kaplan has explained that she and director Dominique Othenin-Girard viewed Tina as tougher and more vulnerable than audiences often realized.

She was open to returning for Halloween 6

In later interviews she revealed there were discussions about her potentially appearing in the next film, but that never happened.

She never viewed Tina’s fate as completely clear

Kaplan has said the original script did not clearly establish whether Tina ultimately lived or died.
Because of that ambiguity, she felt a return in a sequel was possible.

Today, rather than rejecting the character because of the criticism, Kaplan has generally embraced Tina. She speaks about her with affection and tends to focus on Tina’s loyalty, heart, and willingness to protect Jamie rather than on the traits fans often criticize.
