This is one of the earliest mentions that I could find of Universal making a new Woody series at the time and it's neat seeing them hype up Woody like this, it shows they really had high hopes for him at one point.

So back in 2007 when the first Woody DVD came out they held an event where they screened shorts from the DVD and had a panel afterwards with a lot of notable animation people like Billy West and June Foray being there. Some news articles from the time say the panel was also set to be available online, but it can't be accessed anywhere now. I was only able to find one photo of the panel and a few articles that mention the event along with the initial announcement from the Woody Woodpecker website (when that was still active).
I'm gonna try to collect more Chilly Willy so why not obtain an absolute holy grail piece I thought I'd never own. This is the Chilly Willy Teeny Weeny mini maquette by Electric Tiki released in 2007 and limited to 325 pieces. I'm surprised how small it is, especially knowing the prices it goes for online but it is a gorgeous statue! I think now I'm gonna try to get the other characters from this line, they did Andy Panda and three versions of Woody.
I really love this art since it feels like what 1999 Winnie would've looked like in a classic era short.
USJ had Chilly in the park from it's opening in 2001 and I think up until 2012 when he was retired (leaving Port Aventura as the only park where you could still meet him). I think it's neat that he's treated as his own thing here (separate from woody) and he had his own merch lines. I'm not sure if he still gets merch there nowadays but they definitely still acknowledge him sometimes which is nice.

There's a mix of 97 and 99 designs in here. This also makes mention of The Woody zone and Winnie's Diary merchandise style guides which I do happen to own and have scanned and upload on archive.org (in case anyone's curious)
Figured I'd post these seeing as it's Crash's birthday and he and Woody used to be prominent characters at Universal Studios in the 2000s. Is it weird that I got into Crash because of this random association with Woody? Like I started playing the PS1 games recently and they're really fun, I even got the Fortnite skin too. It's pretty much this month's hyperfixation for me, I just love this little guy! ^^

It not often we get new merch outside of Universal Studios so I thought these were worth pointing out. I really like the designs of the first two shirts. Most of these also use the newer 2018 renders (which were exclusive to Port Aventura merch for the longest time).
These would've been released by Sideshow Toys to coincide with the release of The New Woody Woodpecker Show on Fox Kids. They planned to make a Nascar themed line and a regular Woody and friends one (which I’ll link its concept art in the comments).
There exists concept art for both lines but only the Nascar line seemingly made it to the prototype stage and was previewed at toy fair. But there is a single physical photo of a Woody figure from the main line (see pic 3) so there is a possibility more prototypes exist and just haven't been documented yet.
Woody Woodpecker and Friends Collectors Edition dvd, this was a series of dvds released in the early 2000s containing episodes of TWWS. They're pretty rare nowadays but I got this one for just a few bucks on Vinted! I also scanned the cover art and disc since I don't think those are available online. It’s always nice to get something I've wanted for years ʘ‿ʘ
It's pretty rare to see another Woody collector (in fact i've only seen like four others) but I found this one on Twitter that I really liked! (^_^)
