Hi everyone. I made a custom fill group for PvPoke with what is, imo, the core meta for Great League with Rank 1 IVs. Pasting it into PvPoke will let you see how specific Pokemon do into the top meta. You can run it in matrix battles to get an idea of team strengths/weaknesses as well as to compare breakpoints and bulkpoints on different IV spreads. A Hispanic

Personally, I loved it. I think it revealed just how centralizing Tinkaton and Forretress are (I saw maybe two Ninetales the whole cup). It gave a lot of unexpected Pokemon a chance to shine, but also showed just how safe picks like Lickilicky and S. Kingdra are, which I don’t think is very healthy. Anything you took away from this cup? Anything you want to try in OGL now?

Hey all, last year while driving to Montreal I stumbled upon the most incredible rest stop. I believe it was themed “discover New York State” or something like that. It was filled with local products and I believe had some infographics about the state as well. Does anyone know what I’m talking about or am I losing it? TIA.

Many of you playing for a long time may remember Victini used to be a fringe pick in GL, but for years nobody’s made a peep about the little guy. I actually think he’s in a pretty good spot after the Confusion buff; he now gets to both Psyshock (70 damage for 40 energy) and V-Create (95 damage for 40 energy, double defense debuff) in three confusions flat. Fire/psychic is probably average to above average both offensively and defensively, and in today’s meta, a fire-type defensive profile core breaks the pretty common Tink-K9 core. Consistent psychic damage means it’s not walled by the majority of water and dragon types. He’s obviously glassy, but I’ve been having decent success with him in competitor’s cup around 2500 elo.

Anybody know when these are supposed to ship? Looks like they got delayed again recently.
