Bad Brains will unearth early studio recordings, mixed by Ian MacKaye
"Bad Brains have announced Are You Ready: The First Studio Recording, their never-before-released album, out Nov. 6 via Trust Records. The six songs are the earliest known studio recordings by Bad Brains, captured during an hour-long session at Inner Ear Studios in March 1979.
All of the tracks have been newly mixed by Ian MacKaye (Fugazi, Minor Threat), including the fan-favorite 'Pay to Cum,' which is out today alongside archival footage captured by filmmaker Barry Masterson at CBGB on Oct. 24, 1979."
