A few months ago, we put out the call that we were actively looking for new moderators, and now we are excited to welcome two new members to the mod team!

Up first, u/nojokejustkidding aka Tatiana! You might know her from her current work as the Editor-in-Chief of ANTICS Magazine, or her work over the years in a variety of publications like Paste, PAPER, NME, Alternative Press, Billboard, The A.V. Club and more. The work she's done over the years uplifting indie music has been incredibly inspiring to say the least, and we are so excited to have her on the team.

And last but not least, u/bimbochungo also joins our team! They've been doing tremendous work for the last two years running r/independentspain, helping build up the indie music community in Spain and hosting AMAs with a variety of artists like Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Viva Belgrado, el diablo de shanghai, Mourn, Las Petunias and more. We're so glad to have them on the team as we continue to spread our wings internationally!

So please, give u/nojokejustkidding & u/bimbochungo a warm welcome to the r/indieheads mod team!

For our first AMA of July this year, we're excited to announce that Bedouine will join us for an AMA this Wednesday, July 1st at 2pm ET/11am PT!

Her new album, Neon Summer Skin, is out now via Thirty Tigers and features the singles "Long Way to Fall", "One Thing Right" and "On My Own." She'll be out on tour starting later this summer for a set of UK & EU dates before returning stateside for more tour dates in the fall. Hey folks, unless some crazy last minute booking comes through, this'll be our last AMA announcement for the month, as to end June off in style we'll be having Temples join us this Friday, June 26th at 11am ET/4pm UK!

Their new album, BLISS, is also out this Friday and features the singles "Jet Stream Heart", "Vendetta" and "Blue Flame." To celebrate the new album's release, they'll be embarking a record store tour of the UK, signing records and playing exclusive remix sets built around BLISS at each store. Plus, they'll be embarking on the world tour for BLISS starting later this summer, playing shows all throughout China, North America, Europe and the UK!
