Channel 3 moved recently and has been closed for about a month, and they are reopening this weekend just a couple doors down from their old location.
There is a lot going on in that strip mall that was all but abandon just a few years ago, its really nice to see some revitalization happening on this side of town.
I have been developing this game over the last 10 years between other projects. I have over 100 hours playtesting with family, friends and strangers and have gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback. I have also made many adjustments based on suggestions from players on how to improve the game.
I have made a sell sheet and a 1 minute promo video to pitch. I sent that off to one publisher and got good feedback as well, but they ultimately denied my submission because they were not developing strategy rpg games at the time. I asked if they had any ideas on other publishers that would be more appropriate to pitch to but they didn't have any suggestions.
Any ideas on what to do from here?
Are there things that I could do to help improve my engagements ? I'm sure its not super easy to give specific advice without watching my games, but some general tips could be helpful.
I am doubting there is one but maybe someone knows of one.
