I used to think Fallen Order had some great lookouts. This game tops it even further.

What in the world bruh

All I did was cut off his tongue and 'convince' him to give me my personal space. Now he wants revenge?

All right fellow Assassins/Kakushiba Ikkis, here is my review of the base game. I will update again once i finish Claws of Awaji

There will be Spoilers ahead for obvious reasons so please if you haven't played the base game and want to experience it all yourself, please do so and let us all know your thoughts once you are done with the game yourself

This is a long post so i thank you all for taking the time to hear my thoughts. May you all work in the dark to serve the light.

All right, with that being said, I'll move on Act wise as i think it would best portray the game:

Act 1: >!This one act i believe sets up the game so good with Yasuke and Nobunaga attacking Iga. You plow through everyone and basically go gung ho on any enemy unfortunate enough to stand in your way. After a brief period, you play as Naoe and this time you get to see from her perspective as all the people that Yasuke mowed down were actually your compatriots and neighbors.!<

>!The build up honestly is amazing like historically we know why Nobunaga attacked Iga but we dont know why from Assassins Creed lore wise and that is also amazing.!<

>!Many things happen, Naoe's father dies, box gets taken and you get introduced to the primary enemy faction, the Shinbakufu, kind of like the Cult of Kosmos but not as well fleshed out i think and now you start hunting them.!<

Banger opening, off to a good start

Act 2: >!The Hunt. Basically the meat and bones of the entire campaign. I believe this part will either break you or make you want to see it through. I believe majority of the exploration happens here. You unlock Yasuke as a playable character and pursue leads, both Shinbakuku as well as personal. Meet a lot of colourful characters with their own target boards.!<

>!I got to admit, there were times i was like when is this Act going to progress but through sheer willpower and with me playing other games as a break from this game, i finally finished all target boards, completed Hideout Upgrades and finished a lot of mission boards along with Kuji Kiris, Katas and Castles!<

Act 3: T>!he final 2 targets. All right, I am just going to come out and say it. This Act is damn good, especially because now you are almost done with the targets, just the leader and the traitor. The attack on the castle, the chase and the boss battle along with the ambient score is damn good and i wish we got more of those moments in Act 2.!<

>!I truly think the devs focused more on Act 1 and Act 3 when it came to cutscene quality and overall story. They were very well done.!<

Epilogue: >!The last few missions of Junjiro and Tomiko were funny and very heartwarming with the ending of the base game being hopeful as things are looking up for Naoe as she finally gets to move on from her path of vengeance and look forward to a new adventure and Yasuke having killed the Templars can also finally look forward as he has a new purpose.!<

Overall, I did like the base game. Shame it was not received well. This game definitely got its fair share of issues but then again, I do not think it deserved all of the hate it got.

On to the DLC next!!
