My FIL has lung cancer after smoking for years, I am afraid it might be genetic. My husband wants to quit smoking, says he will quit, but never does. He smokes around 3 to 4 cigarettes a day. 1. After waking up. 2. Office break. 3. Office Break. 4. Before sleeping.

He drinks on weekends, that's fine.

Any workable tips from your experience that would make him quit smoking ?

I am planning to have only one child, but will there be loneliness for the child?

Isn't it better to invest better in one child and make life more comfortable for all 3 than have two kids but sacrifice on other things?

What's your opinion? If you have been a single child, what are the cons ?

I bought it @11.30, refrigerated it at 11.35, and boiled it at 12.30 PM. It's spoiled. It has happened earlier too.

I am a North Indian, born and raised in TN, we don't have such rituals. My husband is Tamil, they have rituals for 5th, 7th and 9th month. i am in 5th month rn. My MIL showed 0 interest till now. I am not interested either.

But my parents feel bad for me that my MIL isn't doing anything, they want me to have it atleast in the 9th month. Even my husband wants to do it for me. They just want it simple on the terrace. How to convince them to not do it and not be upset about my MIL thing. ?

I think the EB card is with the house owner, I have to ask them... But if it's not available how do I know my units consumed in the past few months.. I am only able to see the amounts paid previously..
