yumiori vs denali

bought these two on rei's sale, but I have to return one of them. which one is better? Tbf I don't live in a cold weather, the coldest it will go it probably just 0-5C (that too, if I go on a trip) - and then I can layer up with a thermal layer inside. will the denali be overkill in that case?

Confused about nano air vs textured fleece

both comfortable, both breathable, both packable. Which one do you guys enjoy more? and find more use out of? and what are you guys using it for? is the nano air more wind proof than the textured fleece?

Looking for a good/fashionable rain jacket

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a nice looking rain jacket - not super technical looking but also cute, and I can wear as an outer layer casually on trips.

Edit: after going through comments I'm thinking of going with the cielo since it's cute and also 2.5l (so better than the antora which is 2l) and the lululemon one some time later - i think i can get it second hand for cheaper since it is 3l

These are the ones that I can decided upon, but can't figure out which one to go for. REI also has a sale lol from 15th.

  1. https://www.rei.com/product/242841/kuhl-stretch-voyagr-jacket-womens
  2. https://www.rei.com/product/201850/the-north-face-antora-rain-hoodie-womens?sku=2018500162
  3. https://www.rei.com/product/202780/cotopaxi-cielo-rain-jacket-womens?sku=2027800136 either this or the rayu, I'm confused

Non technical brands

  1. https://www.rains.com/collections/most-popular/products/curve-jacket?variant=50930182553947 - this looks so sleek and cute

  2. https://shop.lululemon.com/p/jackets-and-hoodies-jackets/Rain-Rebel-Jacket/_/prod9280037?color=19222 - this too!

These are too many options, can somebody who owns these provide me some guidance. I usually like something either boxy fit, or longer coat like(with some cinching at waist/hem). I want it to look nice, since I'll be taking them on trips and want to look nice as well.

Special mention to patagonia, love their stuff and bifl guarantee, but i feel they look kinda frumpy on me 😞

opinion on the textured fleece hoodie

I bought it since it's so nice and cropped and provides and nice warmth to it around 15-20°c. seems breathable for light cycling/commuting and walking around too. but I'm wondering if I should return and replace with something like r1 tech face or nano air, is the textured fleece worth the 165$? what else are you using it for? I love wearing it around the house too.

- i have been craving a good japanese tonkotsu ramen. I need all the good stuff like the pork chashu, creamy pork broth, soft buttery egg and nori.

What are the best recommendations around the area? I'm open to sunnyvale, and also up and down the caltrain line, if it is close to the statioin!

- Thanks!

For starters I'm looking for a jacket which will work in the temperature range of 7-17C, with light walking/cycling and light medium rain (not prolonged). I will basically be using it as a commute jacket that's why the walking/cycling. also i'm a woman(would prefer something which is in nice colours too if possible 😭 i love soft pastel shades)

I would like to like walk around on it, without getting sweaty maybe - so some breathability. I know breathability comes at the cost of wind protection - so some combination of both. And I want like some fleeciness to it, so that it's warm slightly. Honestly I'm fine even if it's not patagonia, I just want one which will last a long time (but I couldn't find an equivalent subreddit)

I have looked at the following options

> nano air ultralight (this was actually super comfortable)

> patagonia bomber hoodie diamond quilted - looked cute

> nano air hybrid

> r1 cross-strata

> r1 thermal - I run a bit cold

> cotopaxi yermo jacket

> lululemon women's cross chill jacket (i don't know if this is dumb lol) but the fit looks so nice and it is rated with breathability and rain protection

Any other recommendations? especially if you have used the above?

- Thanks
