Is the defensive behaviour?

My hamster Walnut starts nibbling and trying to drag my hand whenever I invite him to climb onto my hand.

Pretty sure it's not actual bites, as it does not hurt at all. A little pinchy sometimes at most. Feels like he's trying to drag me along.

Is this defensive behaviour as in "Keep this up and I'll bite you" ? Does he mistake me for food?

How do these chonkers always manage to enter?

T'is the season. Summer nears it's end. The rains are starting. And the male Giant House Spiders get horny.

Although every window in our house has a bug net (just the one in the bathroom has a little tear), these absolute units always manage to get inside somehow.

Do you have any ideas how they manage? The torn bug net is inside the bathroom, but we also find them rooms aways, roaming.

Not arachnophobic or anything. Just genuinly curious how something so big managed to get inside everytime
