Balmacaan shoulder fit concern

I would like to hear some opinions on the fit of this harris tweed balmacaan I found secondhand recently. I think the shoulders are just a tad small (this is with a sportcoat underneath btw) and the belt is definitely too short. Is it still useable and fine aesthetically? I dont really feel restricted, I could still easily hug myself, and I feel like the chest and sleeves still has tons of room. My sportcoat lapels also dont bow when I wear it under the coat. Am also considering to just rock it without the belt or have the belt loosely tied at the back. Thoughts?

P.S. bad camera angle, the coat is slightly longer than it seems, it does actually just pass my knee. And also the image is mirrored.

Balmacaan shoulder fit

is the shoulder of this balmacaan I recently found secondhand a bit too small? (Im wearing a shirt and a sportcoat underneath). The chest is roomy and nice and so are the sleeves and my sportcoat's lapels arent bowing with it under the coat. This is my second balmacaan and despite having about the same chest width as my other one the shoulders here feel a tad smaller. So I just want to do a sanity check and ask if its fine to outside observers or not.

And yes the belt is somewhat too short, Im thinking of how to rectify that.

Edit: Ive found the reason why it feels a bit small, I measured the coat's chest slightly wrong and found out its 1 cm smaller in the chest (measured flat so approx 2cm circumference) than my other coat. However since it doesnt seem to restrict my movements and it doesnt look like its too small I think I'll keep it.

Light Weight Harris Tweed

Does anyone know what I can expect from this coat made of Light Weight Harris Tweed in terms of warmth and weight? I cant seem to find anything specific regarding this.

Much appreciated :)

What kind of tie texture is this? (and bonus new tie)

Got two new ties secondhand recently and one of them really caught my eye because of its texture and I have no idea what to call it. Its 100% silk but lowkey feels like wool and it kinda reminds me of a knit but it isnt. Id love to hear what yall think.

In other news, I got my first block stripe tie (see last pic). The colour is a bit off due to lighting but it should be a kind of dirty gold and navy.

Came across these in the wild over the course of the week, a nice Malta 50c, a 1€ spanish one (the design of which I somehow dont have) and a new 2€ Belgian one I havent seen before

Shirt - uniqlo ocbd

tie - navy silk knit tie from Bottega del Sarto (thrifted)

blazer - Dunn & Co DB 4x1 navy blazer (thrifted for a whopping 30€, unsure from what era but this is old Dunn and co and is full canvas)

trousers - lightweight light gray wool flannel (thrifted, unknown brand but it has 4 pleats on each side, a full cut, and a relatively high rise, which is awesome)

socks - free socks from an event

shoes - thrifted split toe penny loafers from Franco Fidele

Lapel pin is of a small paper plane.

Thoughts?

Personally I think the shirt collar should be bigger and I would've preferred a 6x2 blazer but the 4x1 has grown on me
