NYPD clashes with protesters outside NYP-Allen Hospital when ICE vehicles are seen leaving the building during last night’s demonstration

At approximately 9:15pm, reports of gunshots in the area of Myrtle Ave and MLK Dr came in following an apparent fight. Gunman fled westbound on Myrtle heading towards Bergen. 1 person was taken into custody in connection to the shooting an hour later on Bergen and Bostwick. No reported injuries by gunfire

At approximately 7:00pm, at least 2 reports came in of shots fired on Harrison Avenue between JFK and Bergen. One male was found inside an apartment with a gunshot wound to the foot. JCPD ended up blocking traffic from the Kennedy side

Report of a large suitcase left unattended at the Harborside Light Rail Station at approximately 9:40pm. K9 and Bomb Squad units responded

2 arrests tonight 06/07/2026. One cop came rushing as I was filming and pushed me in front of a car

One individual was chased down and handcuffed on the sidewalk. The second was chased down on the train tracks and ended up getting sprayed and tased. The third was reportedly a medic (unclear why he was arrested)
