Errors in D102 module quiz?

I'm not sure if I'm reading the question incorrectly, but I'm pretty sure the two sentences that I circled contradict each other. Can someone explain this? The question following this one with a similar format also said that a company receiving cash in advance for rent recorded it as a liability, yet the answer that I chose (which was correct) was a corresponding entry of credit to rent revenue. It's either I'm not understanding the material or there were some errors in this quiz.

LG Monitor Flickering

The monitor is the LG Ultragear 27GP850-B and I have the ASUS 4070 OC 12GB. I've had the graphics card since January 2024, and the monitor since May 2024. Since I got the monitor, I've used displayport 1.4 at 165hz with adaptive sync turned on and HDR on. Everything was fine until a couple of weeks ago when the monitor started flickering lines and going black every few seconds. When I start my PC, the monitor works fine at those settings for a couple of minutes and then the flickering/blackouts start.

Today I tried identifying the issue. I bought a new DP cable and swapped it in, same issue. Tried different DP ports on the GPU with both cables, same issue. Reseated my GPU, same issue. Installed multiple older NVIDIA drivers, same issue. When I tried using HDMI instead, it works fine which I understand is because of the differences in bandwidth and max possible refresh rates with DP vs HDMI. Dropping the refresh rate down from 160hz to 120hz fixes it, but it even flickers at 120hz once I turn HDR off.

Now, I got the flickering to stop by changing from DP 1.4 to 1.2 on my monitor, but now I'm capped at 144hz with no HDR. I'm trying to figure out if this is a monitor problem or if my GPU is dying. What else can I do to identify whether it's the monitor or the GPU?
